Lie 50% of Lagos are Igbo while 25% of other South West state are Igbo according to Ipob bureau of statistics |

Thormentor:You lack the ability to read statistics What it meant is that they have more more outsiders living in their midst. Which is a good indication that they are welcoming to outsiders Take Dubai for instance. Only 15% are citizens while 85% are foreigners living in that city |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by yoruboid: 12:25am On Jul 07, 2024 |
Thormentor:Shows that apart from indigenous Lagosians who are Yorubas, Yorubas dominate Lagos in terms of population Lagos is Yorubaland and Yorubas can migrate to Lagos as much as Igbos migrate to Anambra |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by Thormentor: 2:34am On Jul 07, 2024 |
HilcomTech:you clearly can't read the Stat says! I LIVE IN MY STATE OF ORIGIN your lies about people fleeing their region is completely bursted |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by Thormentor: 2:36am On Jul 07, 2024 |
yoruboid:There are more Yorubas in the north than Igbos Infact the amount of Yorubas in SE alone is nearly same as those of SE people in SW i have traveled wide Nigeria i can tell you that for free |

| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by aswani(m): 5:48am On Jul 07, 2024 |
Thormentor:The bolded part is untrue and you know it. There are more Ndigbo in Lagos, and nothing wrong with that, than there are Ndi Yoruba in all of ala igbo. There are some villages in ala Yoruba that you will see second generation Ndigbo whose parents are farmers and be shocked. |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by nonhuman(m): 6:26am On Jul 07, 2024 |
aswani:the question is why are they ashamed of their state if origin whenever you ask they will claim to come from Lagos |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by aswani(m): 8:55am On Jul 07, 2024 |
nonhuman:Who said they are ashamed? A lot of Benin speaking people are from places all around Benin, if you ask them where they are from, especially as a foreigner, they will say Benin, only if you ask about their ancestry will they say what village their ancestors migrated from. I am sure this is also true in ala igbo |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by JagabanB: 9:43am On Jul 07, 2024 |
SpatialKing:I don't care about IGR from Ogun State, it doesn't relate to me in any way. Ur assumptions here is Iàme. |

aswani:when did Benin become a state, if your language is Benin thn you are Benin |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by aswani(m): 6:56am On Jul 08, 2024 |
nonhuman:The point remains, people flock to a larger cornubation where their language is spoken and claim the place. The operative term is where their language is spoken. That should not be a problem for Obidients, sorry I mean anyone, especially if the people complaining don't speak the language natively. |

Ogun people can never stay in their state. Well, the place is terrible place to be. Even with their IGR hardly would they stay and enjoy it. |

aswani:oga if don't know how to make sense why not just rest a person claim a place that is not his you say is normal even when you ask the person which state are you from he will mention another place what does that tell you, simple he ashamed of his own |
| Re: Percentage of the population living in their State of origin by aswani(m): 1:24pm On Jul 09, 2024 |
nonhuman:That is their choice, I am ok with it. The Uni I went to, I met lots of Lagosians that I never knew beforehand, we all hung out and effectively claimed Lagos. We all visited each other during the holidays. Nobody said I am from Lagos island, the rest of you are from Iragbiji or Owerri or Ogwash. We identified with our various areas in Lagos and yabbed each other accordingly. I never asked anyone where their parents where from, it wasn't important and they told me in their own time. Those that came back to Lagos after NYSC did, those that went abroad did. Not one person build a house anywhere else but Lagos, including those abroad. When parents passed on, we went to their ancestral home for funerals and we returned to our Lagos. We are all Lagosians, who no like am go jump inside river or go meet Rilwan Akiolu make he trowey you for inside Lagoon. |

aswani:iam glad you Said lagosian the truth is anybody can be a logasian IAM not a logasian but my brother is a lagoisan, but it baffles me when some of us say Lagos is for everybody some person will say others wants to take their Lagos, now you have confirmed it just like tinubu is a lagosian even when he is ancenstrally from osun |

nonhuman:That was my personal opinion. You cannot be Anti Yoruba or Anti Yoruba Muslim in Lagos, like Chinedu Gbadebo, and expect people to sit back and fold their arms. Obidients are in the group of friends I mentioned, as are Tinubu followers, they are still in the WhatsApp group we have. People respectfully expressed their opinions and engaged in debate before elections, not once did anyone abuse and insult. No one needs anyone to tell them they are or are not Lagosians. |
