If those in power decide the best way they can govern is to punish the people with insensitive and cruel policies that does not affect them is it wrong for the people suffering the cruelty to retaliate by staging protests?

Are you telling me you or no one close to you in your family and friends clique has not complained about how bad situation of things are in this country?

Your only focus is about the genuine protest regarding the hardships, how about the additional hardship that would follow after the protest must have been hijacked?

Those youths from other countries you want to copy, do you know what damages they have caused to their economy? Which investors would invest in a country where their youths can wake up one day and start destroying and looting businesses because they are protesting.

The looting of warehouses that stored Covid-19 palliatives that were meant to be shared to the people was carried out during protests right? Or it was some “disgruntled election losers” that did that as well.

The truck carrying cattle that broke down on the road and cattle slaughtered and pilfered by some people in a northern state are also “disgruntled election losers”.

The government have a responsibility to govern in fairness and justice, failure to do so whatever the repercussions are they face it.

They live in luxury and expect the people to be the ones to bear the pains of redirecting a country they put in the wrong direction to begin with.

Why do you people always fail to use your power on the ballot? Before talking about rigged election in Nigeria, was Kenya election rigged too? Who voted for the current Kenya president if not the same youths.

Why can't they use their power to remove him in the next election instead of destroying things all in the name of protest. How many lives was lost?

my friend those planning for a peaceful protest are lovers of democracy and they should be encouraged not threatening. you are not doing Tinubu and his government any good by supporting their anti-people policies.
