Illegal cart pushers in Lagos contribute to environmental degradation and obstruct official waste management efforts, thereby undermining the city's cleanliness and beauty. This will go a long way in reducing the menace cost by this acclaimed illegal cart pushers.

Why not design a better cart, that has some machine and tracker instead of cutting livelihood...and convert waste to wealth ...if you know your waste can pay your NEPA bills monthly would you throw it away ..mba ..you sell it and filter it properly, allow Aboki chop where e dey work.
Re: LASG Takes Action Against Illegal Waste Cart Pushers by naptu2: 9:12am On Jul 07, 2024
The cart pushers have been illegal since the early 2000s. Government discovered that they collect waste from residents and dump them indiscriminately. Quite often they dump waste in the median of expressways.

There are no legal cart pushers and there haven't been since the early 2000s.

You must have a compactor before you can be registered as a private sector participant (PSP) in waste management.

This is a compactor.

Aboki don suffer for Lagos. If Sanwolu is not smashing their bikes en masse, today he's arresting cart pushers or destroying their market in Alabarago.

Election have consequences but that warning doesn't seem to concern abokis, this is sad. undecided
Must you bring tribalism into this

You are taking stupid action on the people that are helping you clear the dirty in the state, lawma are not working the way they should, that is why all these Aboki are still doing the job, if lawma is duly working the Abokis wouldn't have getting nothing to do with waste.
God bless you so much. Nigeria govts like doing the wrong things. If the people saddled with the responsibility of waste mgt are living up to expectations, these aboki cart pushers will have no one to patronize them.

The next thing, they will start blaming the people for indiscriminate dumping of refuse when they have not provided efficient waste collection points, no efficient waste evacuation and disposal team.

Our govts are intentionally dumb.

Those cartpushers are lifesavers in inner streets where the PSP garbage trucks can't/don't reach. They should focus on operating within those terrains

THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO ERADICATE THEM BUT, CALL THEM FOR A MEETING AND TEACH THEM A GOOD BUSINESS IDEA, THE CAN ALSO BE SUPPORTED BY THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT UNDER THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT IN CREATING A WELL MANNERS OF COLLECTING AND DUMPING IT TO GENERATE MONEY THROUGH RECYCLING.

THERE IS HARDSHIP IN THE LAND AND DON'T CREATE ADDITIONAL

When your darling Chinedu becomes Governor you can advice him to allow them start cart pushing inside the government house.
Re: LASG Takes Action Against Illegal Waste Cart Pushers by kalufelix(m): 10:33am On Jul 07, 2024
Do they actually dispose properly or just collect for the sake of scavenging...cart pushing is so remote they can enter your kitchen and cart your pots away.. ENSG also banned truck/cart scavenging some months ago..

If lawma is really working no one needs cart pushers, but lawma don't go into streets anymore. Just collect refuse on the main road.
