Military Regime Or Civilian Regime: Interesting Times Ahead by PEXBlog(op): 5:24pm On Jul 08, 2024
Earlier this year, ECOWAS led by Tinubu declared war on the military coup leaders of Niger, Mali & Burkina Faso.

The three leaders left ECOWAS & formed a mutual pact alliance of military support should anyone of them be attacked by ECOWAS states.

This was one of the initial blunders that Tinubu committed that showed he knew next to nothing about International Politics & Diplomacy.

When he realized he couldn't fight that war, he chickened out shamefully.

Today, these three military leaders have ruled out returning to ECOWAS even as Nigeria's 🇳🇬 President Bola Tinubu leads Heads of State of the 15-member bloc in a Summit in Abuja to persuade them to return.

What is most funny is while Tinubu has made a mess of governance in Nigeria, the military leader in Burkina Faso has thoroughly demonstrated true, sincere & transparent leadership in his country.

There is a HUGE PROTEST going on now in Burkina Faso asking the military leader to cancel his plans for a democratic election that will usher in civilian leadership.

The people want him to remain in power for now because of how much development they have witnessed in less than one year of his coming to power.

But in Nigeria, BATists are now saying there is nothing Tinubu can do to help Nigeria because Nigeria is like a car with a bad engine, there is nothing the driver can do to make it work.

Car wey everybody de manage drive, e reach Bulaba turn, e knock am engine and they call those asking questions HATERS.

Make we no talk because na una popsy eeeeh fine boys?

With the calibre of people we have as security personnel, I can't pray for any coup in Nigeria. Buhari gave them the highest budget throughout his 8 years but no reforms in the Nigeria armed forces. They embezzled all the money. Nobody is going to fall from heaven, it is the same Nigerians that are in the military. For now I don't pray for any military takeover because it will be worst.

Reminds me of when Abacha was planning to transit from Military to Democracy and found people to march on the streets to support him of course he paid them and no one could march to oppose cos they will be killed.

You people talking nonsense were born and only know civilian governments. Some of us know that protests supporting military rulers are not willing.

Even Rwamda that is a civilliam, Kagame is not a stable person.

That you have the freedom to type this alone is enough proof
