We only asked for him to be given more minutes when Southgate was removing saka for bowen
You don't see Hen.sben take here sometimes?

I believe Palmer have moved up the pecking order above Bowen

Truth is, the only real difference between pre City and post City Grealish is that he was more central but given freedom to drift left or right whereas in City it looks like he was instructed to stay left. Other than that, Grealish's game has not changed. He was never stats heavy although I also agree that he had runners ahead of him whereas in City, we do not play with flying wingers so apart from Haaland that runs in behind, Grealish will be forced to protect the ball and wait for his other midfielders to join in the attack. And even that is not a Pep thing. Pep has gone from Razza and Leroy Sane, to Grealish and Riyad and Doku and Bernardo Silva etc. Pep simply tweaks his style to accommodate the personalities and skillset of his players.

If you needed additional proof, you can see that Doku never looks hesitant to shoot even though he is not very good at it. Yet Grealish is extremely hesitant and would rather sell a foul or recycle possession. I think the player's confidence also plays a role in it. And when a player is down on confidence, they'll simply try to make the least mistakes hence why you think Pep changed his style.

I'll look for a link of an analysis made by someone on YouTube showing that Jack's style has not really changed. People just feel that a player purchased for £100M should be scoring loads of goals and assists otherwise he is a flop. I don't think that is right even if I agree that Jack should be doing more.
I think Pep cares so much about not losing the ball, reason he prefers Grealish to Doku. Reason he also doesn't like Matheus Nunes.

I remember a game against Liverpool where he subbed KDB for Kovacic because KDB wasn't keeping the ball. He revealed this at the end of the game.

lols, Blueang€l is a R.Madrid fans. You should know that already.

Beside, Palmer and Saka are not fixated to just a position. Both can start a game in a different role and be effective.

He does but for his midfielders first and foremost as he believes this is the base of any team. Some build around their defense and others their attack.

He doesn't have those expectations for his wingers. If a player was direct, Pep used it to his advantage but if the player had better control, he would aim to maximize that. City started going long to help Erling Haaland. We never played that way for years since Dzeko maybe.

It takes an extra ordinary world class player to shine under a below bar coach like Southgate.

Even his maradona that he normally use to shade Messi didn't score against Brazil in World cup/the qualifiers, Copa, Olympics, or confederations cup.

Nobody send such meaningless stats as long as you score against other big teams except if you're penaldo fans. I can imagine the effort obonujoker went through to look for such meaningless stats cheesy cheesy
