The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties, CNPP, has vehemently condemned the recent Appeal Court ruling on Rivers State Assembly lawmakers’ defection, saying that the judgment has a semblance of a verdict procured from the black-market “meant to destabilise the state, leading to a parallel State House of Assembly, which is a very dangerous development for Nigeria’s democracy.”

Do these fools know that it is illegal to have caretaker committee as chairman of Local governments?

The same thing happened in Abia State and not even the electorate called them out for what is unconstitutional and hence fraudulent? Why? I mean someone has to open a case on this to have these people immediately evicted like in the River's state case. These things are not automagically handled or addressed by the courts.

The guy is cashing out big time ooooo. He doesn't have a stake in his home state imo State. He decided to connect his pipe to siphon from in Rivers State. He is making it big.
