School fees are paid directly to the university / polytechnic / college of education / technical college purse by the Loan Board, while only monthly stipend to support the students are given to students monthly.

LMAO. My first job out of uni if I remember clearly paid $86,000/ year, and as Nigeria wey I be, I still hustle side jobs at home Depot on weekends which added another $25k or so.

I took a STEM course. I know some people that took courses like languages and philosophy. They did a lot of work stocking shelves at Walmart in trying to pay off their loans.

True. I had several class mates that struggled at university. I mean guys were missing lectures to do bricklayer jobs all over Lekki and all those mowe areas that were developing. Some of them would have graduated with better grades if not for those hustle.
People with first class do get excellent jobs in Nigeria too. They get snapped up by places like KPMG, PWC and the ones with engineering degree dey end up in places like Mobil or shell.

Oga, u can't earn less than 60k$ and pay off 30k in 1 year! Even Dave Ramsey would only give that advice to people earning above 80k-100k !

He did say his salary was $86k(ish) out of school and does extra work at weekends to even stretch it over 100k. Go back and re-read his post.
