10kva should be able to run this easily whether victron or not

I'm getting a 2.5kwh lithium, how reliable are these?. I've used 3 different 18650 lithium packs in less than 3 years and I do not like the experience.

IS THE VICTRON WARRANTY being passed over/still valid?.....not sure if our local engrs can fix it if it goes bad, hence you need to be sure of the warranty status.....its a good deal if so

I noticed at float, the battery voltage doesn't exceed 26.8v and bulk/absorption 27.4v



Is this an issue?

0.2v short of the recommended float and absorption charge.

Do I increase the float voltage to 27.2v and absorption voltage to 27.8v?

Nothing to worry about when it comes to repairs with those big brands, infact their repairs is usually the most straight forward. Once you identify the exact board that is bad inside, you buy a replacement, slot it back in, connect the different olugs back and your inverter is back to life.

It is even all these chinese hybrid boards that solder all the different parts of the board on one board sef that you start having to trace resistor, ICs, capacitors to replace.

Naturally I have problems with used stuff, if I don't know the history. If I can raise 1.8m, I will rather borrow more to get that 8kw deye than buy used 10kva victron, except I know the history, or who used it.

I read about the effects of in-rush current and the damages it can cause to inverters, I opened my battery to confirm that it was fitted with a pre charged resistor .

Don't waste your money going to buy another Inverter. The problem is that the IN-RUSH Battery Current damaged the DC Bus Gates of your inverter which is likely to continue even if you buy another Inverter. That spark your noticed was supposed to be absorbed or suppressed by the Pre-Charge Resistor first and softly starts the Inverter LV DC Bus Circuit.

Newer Cworth Batteries has an RJ45 type Pre-Charge Resistor that you can plug into the RJ45 Port to limit the In rush current. Some other Lithium Batteries has the DIP Switch type of this Resistor that you can toggle to on and off.

If your Battery has an RJ45 Port, I would suggest you approach Cworth Service center to grab this Resistor. If your battery does not have an RJ45 Port ask them for a Pre-Charge Resistor or you can buy one to retrofit in your battery.

Every Installer, DIYer, etc is supposed to have this Resistor because some Warrantees does not cover damages caused by In-Rush Current. Take note.

You can google how to protect your Inverter from in-rush current for more info.
