The Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government In-Exile (BRGIE) has announced that the United States government may soon issue supportive statements regarding Biafra's liberation efforts.

This assertion was made by Simon Ekpa, the Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed Biafra government, in a statement released on Thursday, Daily post report.

According to Ekpa, a series of strategic meetings involving US congressional officials, lobbyists, and BRGIE stakeholders have set the stage for this potential diplomatic backing.

Ekpa detailed the recent high-level engagements, which took place during the week of July 8, 2024.

These meetings included discussions with prominent international journalists, senior US Congressional officials, and key leaders from Washington, DC think tanks, all orchestrated by BRGIE lobbyists.
