Three level of government but the second level is taken resources and responsibility that belong to the third level, so we should continue like they . Why can’t federal government control state resources and spend it for them too . What is the effect of big allocation given to the state, still many of them can’t pay salary.

Governors can make court case for 4 years to seek justice, but will still practice injustice... Imagine the president removing a governor or appointing caretaker governor and not allowing elections to hold in some state... The state government will never agree but this is what they've been doing since the last decade.... Greedy n selfish people... Nigeria problem is not the president but the governors... They don't work to generate internal revenue always waiting for federal government allocation... Let's assume there's no crude oil in Nigeria, most states can't survive... They can use their natural strength like large land mass or investing in agriculture etc to generate fund... Or investing in tech etc... lazy people who only care about stealing

I wonder why governors control the affairs of LG since president don't control the states.

The major problem is that chairmen will start misbehaving using exotic cars, tours, etc forgetting their primary aim

in Obi.s era conducting local election was not so popular many of his own contemporaries did not conduct elections they ran government with caretakers/appointments so why would his own be different

Obaseki only did his LG elections not long ago and on his way out. In fact, he effectively rendered State house useless and toothless too with his wuru wuru.

So no State house, no LGA for majority of his gubernatorial tenure, he should have been on this list with an asterisk.
