The problem is not really how much, it's how well it'll be spent.

If Nigerian government budgets 10 million Naira for something, most times that thing's actual price might not even be up 1 million Naira.

A lot of the US budget is on research and development.

A sizable proportion of costs could be inflated due to the military-industrial complex. The big defence contractors like Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

Y'all don't realize how poor Nigeria really is.

Although, I'm aware defence isn't the only determinant, but none other beats it. In light of that regard, do you think Russia and China can match or even get near US with this heavy chest? Or the charge and agitation about a multi-polar world is only to remain a pipedream?

If you check out videos of Taliban on YouTube, those guys have evolved into a modern combat ready army, with tactical gears, looking like special forces, with arrays of Humvees, few helicopters, tones of thousands of automatic rifles, battle tanks, APCs etc... all thanks to America

all that money is not necessarily spent "to develop more efficient ways to DECIMATE their enemies". much of it goes into maintaining its 750 military bases in 80 countries
