Peter Obi Reacts To Jos, Plateau State's School Collapse by DamnnNiggarr(op): 9:04pm On Jul 12, 2024
See previous post HERE
I am disheartened by the heartbreaking reports of the unfortunate collapse of a school building in Busa Buji village, Jos, Plateau State, today, which has left at least 16 of our children dead, and many others, including teachers, trapped under the rubble.

The incident occurred while the school was in session and students were writing their exams. I can only imagine the trauma of these young ones, sadly, witnessing such a tragic occurrence, and even their parents, who are undoubtedly worried about the safety of the children.

I understand that rescue operations began in full swing. I thank various organisations, including the FRSC, NEMA, Red Cross, Army, Police, and many other individuals helping out with the safe rescue of our children and their teachers.

I sympathize with the Government and People of Plateau State, the management, staff, and students of the school, and the families of all the victims affected. I also call on the government to carry out deep investigations into this tragic incident to unravel the causes and help prevent further occurrences around the country. My sincere prayers are with the remaining trapped children and teachers for their safe rescue.

May God grant eternal rest to the dead, give their families the fortitude to bear the painful loss, and grant quick recovery to the injured. -PO

shocked

This is very very disheartening angry angry sad

This type of tragedy is what I wouldn't wish my enemy.

Because, how can I start imagining it.

I can't imagine that I, as a parent, too my child/ren to school, only for calls to be put across my line informing me of their tragic end!

God forbid.

I sincerely sympathize with the affected parent(s) and pray to God to grant them the fortitude to heal and move on, Amen.

It surely not gonna be easy for them at this time.

oga shout up local government autonomy happened yesterday why have your messiah didn't react to this good news?
So, Local Government Autonomy is more important than the lives of over 20 innocent kids?
Save your energy because, this is not time for politics. When it's time to play politics, then, we play the game.
Well, to average Yo.ruba person, the life of a Northerner is worth little to nothing, in short, life in general means nothing to them.
People that have got the heart to kill fellow human in cold-blood, dismembered them into parts and sell the part for ritual purposes for a meagre sum of less than 100k.

I've seen the acclaimed conscientiousness of the average yo.ruba person towards humanity.
We're jotting down.

What a heartless person you are! How can you not use this opportunity to commiserate the families of these dead children and offer support to the injured ? Where is your humanity?
Peter Obi has shown exemplary leadership hinged in humanity. His love for Nigerians life is greater than political decisions of courts and government. Please let's display our humanity to the tragedy PO was referring to.

It's really saddening . Everyday in Nigeria is not sure for anyone because anything can kill you, from tankers, to drunk drivers, to bandits, to terrorist, to stray bullets , we are just going out and coming in everyday hoping in God's mercy. Many of the deaths happening in Nigeria can be avoided and it starts from electing good leaders who are ready to work and mean well for the country and her people.

Their father's father.

One man squad.

One man opposition.

The only man his words makes the President and his entire tribe to shiver and vomit daily curses.

The only man President and his entire tribesmen and supporters wait to hear his validation of whatever policy they make (example; Tinubu and his minions have been waiting patiently for Obi to talk about the court ruling on LGA autonomy, no be juju be that shocked ).

The man of the people.

The voice of the voiceless.

The one man that humiliated Tinubu in his own Lagos that he held sway for more than 27 years grin

The first and only man that won Nigeria's Presidential election on an unknown structure less party.

The one man that made an unknown party to become a national party in Nigeria within 6 months.

Fearless man.

Untouchable Iroko, touch and die shocked

Re: Peter Obi Reacts To Jos, Plateau State's School Collapse by Eriokanmi:
Good leader. Meanwhile the grandpa who's emilokan's earpiece was busy attacking this man on the supreme court judgement on the LG autonomy and Tinubu's illiterate supporters were busy masturbating over it.

Obi knew why he appointed people to head the LGAs back then. None of the allocations voted into LGAs was being judiciously spent. They were simply diverting funds into their private pocket so he said, for the sake of performance and accountability, that had to stop. He held those appointees accountable asking them to be reporting to him on what they did with their allocation, the development which angered those thieves and they kicked. They said obi was running the affairs of state like a private company on which performance was being measured. Obi was able to discover thousands of ghost workers with this method. His administration was able to save a lot of money ultimately. Tinubu's followers see the ruling as achievement lol. They've suddenly forgotten why obj seized the LG allocation meant for our state when tinubu was governor.

History no dey lie. What's the achievement of the LCDAs which he created that time, other than a conduit pipe through which he was siphoning the state's funds. They said tinubu ran the LGAs without the federal govt allocation, as if Lagos can't run her affairs without fed allocation. We don't even need it. Lagos had always been buoyant financially. All the gullible Indomie generations following him and believing his lies should dig into the past when jakande governed lagos and built the largest housing estate in africa back then without borrowing kobo. No governor in Nigeria has surpased that achievement till today. That was in the early 80s. The overhyped rail project would have been completed in 8 years as projected back then, had buhari not toppled that government.

Before it's too late, I enjoin sensible Nigerians to support this man to set Nigeria free from the shackles of corruption which has retarded our growth since 2015. I've researched well about this amazing man before supporting him.
