They are working on it and water tankers are common sight in most places of Nigeria. I hope that people will be able to pay for water bills just like light bills
Bros, how much is Peter Mba paying you to always come up with these lame excuses?
You seem to always have a reason for why things aren't working in Enugu while claiming to be juggling a 9-5 in faraway Lagos? Is your needless announcement of your Lagos corporate gig meant to cover the fact that you actually work for a failed administration that, so far, has only been successful in inflicting pain on its people?
It's all sorrow and despondency in Enugu State since your Oga came to power. Never has there been a more insensitive administration in Enugu State since the haunted days of Ebeanọ, and it's time we start calling out your kind who are part of these evils for the devils you are. The government of Peter Mba demolished some of the highest employers of labour in a state already famed for its perennial dearth of economic opportunities without any provision for a replacement, yet, in response, someone with probable claim at rationality -- and humanity, comes here to post "congrats to ndị Enugu" with nothing but a pictorial depiction of a white elephant.
You, my friend, are a worst form of fiend if you do all these just so that the cries of Enugu people reeling under the pain of the second coming of Ebeanọ do not get desired audience.

You ended up typing rubbish.
Maybe you could have wanted someone like gburus again in enugu who spent 8 years destroying enugu state and couldn't fix enugu state problems. Mbah is trying and will definitely do well. Nobody is paying me anything. The demolitions also affected my brother too who does business in holy ghost for your info. The only time that I will get angry with mbah is that if after the whole demolitions and he didn't complete the projects.

Please don't bring in that stupid nsk mentality here, we don't need it in enugu at this moment, we want development and mbah is on the right track and nobody needs to pay my anything to say the right thing. If mbah fvcks up, I will say it out here like I used to do.

Gburus our kinsman was a gov for 8 years but he couldn't fix the water issue, mbah is trying to fix it and I'm telling someone to calm down that it will be fixed and you are here typing rubbish. Pls just get out of here

You are the one indeed bringing some kind of archaic, premeval sentiment to the current polity of Enugu.

Why is it that once anyone critiques this govts that person is seen by personalities like you to either come from NSK or to be a supporter of Gburugburu undecided very terrible mentality.

I'm not trying to hold brief for Gburugburu like I always say (check my past posts about him and see how I lashed at him), but the way you guys talk about the man makes me to start seeing the good and noble things Gburugburu did during his reign undecided

Gburugburu brought in some foreign direct investments into the state during his time of notable mention is one of the biggest tile manufacturing companies in the country at 9th Mile area, Guinness Nigeria was about to establish a factory in the state before he left, don't know what later transpired.

Yes, Gburugburu neglected so many Township and city roads but he made up for it by linking and constructing so many rural roads which I have seen.

He established some tertiary education across the state, A new university of medical and applied sciences at Nsukka, a university of education at Awgu (although have not fully commenced), the New state Polytechnic at Iwollo.

Built and refurbished some primary health care centers across the state and refurbished some primary and post primary schools in the state... and quite some other achievements.

Please stop using Gburugburu and Nsukka as defense whenever you want to defend this govt of Mbah, thanks.

Gburus did the barest minimum in his 8 years, many things that mbah is currently trying to revamp today to create employment gburus couldn't do it. Even to complete the secretariat that Sullivan started was a big problem to him. Under him, many state commissions were not active but dormant, teachers went to strike cause they were hold their salaries, many people didn't get their gratuities and pensions in enugu, some of the roads he constructed in enugu town washed off. Even lecturers and new doctors he employed were not paid salaries. Water work started by sullivan was abandoned by him, even to invest in Agriculture in enugu north was a big issue for him, most if his commissioners were busy grabbing lands in enugu. Some companies that sullivan attracted to enugu closed up under him. The only thing that came to enugu was the expansion of amah breweries by NBL and the tile factory in ezeagu for the entire 8 years. Even the stadium works he started was abandoned, the medical school that he Started in igbo ano, he couldn't finish the project , eswama was dead, night life was gone even to lighten up in the night enugu was a big issue for him.

Mbah came in, he started revamping our dead industries like niger gas, the enugu palms, ICC building, presidential hotel, the water projects, roads, new PHC and schools are being built.

He built enugu state modern command center, bus terminals are being built, new market will soon be built in nsukka, enugu new city is on course now.

He is working with FG govt to finish up Akanu ibiam international terminals, cargo houses will be built for export at the airport, he is working with ncc to revamp the ICT university that is currently abandoned in enugu plus increase the bandwidth capacity in enugu. He is currently doing alot.

And for the last time, I'm not paid or do I know anybody that works with mbah. I have a Job that pays me salary every month. I'm active on Twitter and follow up to get the latest update on what's his govt is doing

Mbah came in, he is currently revamping

Bringing in Gburugburu and Nsukka is actually a deliberate diversionary tactic which exposes the honorless wan..ker you quoted for the slavish hireling that he is. Check his posts: he has been consistently doing this from the inception of the administration of Peter Mba.
He is not interested in engaging any criticism of the failed administration for the substance of it, rather he is always eager to change the topic by making spurious or controversial claims. I believe no one here falls for the guile of these demons who would rather have us all drown in tribulations occasioned by the policies of a failed administration because of what they earn.
This same character barefacedly posted "congrats to ndị Enugu" here with a render of a project that includes an EV charging station in a state where no EV has been photographed on its roads, and that makes you wonder how our state can progress with dimwits like that in the corridors of power.

Most mbah critics are from nsk especially LP supporters that their edeoga messiah lost the election.
My issue with most of you mbah critics is that you don't even know what's going on , that's why you people don't want to see anything good in his govt.

For your info, the enugu state BRT buses that will be used for enugu mass transit comprises of both EV and CNG buses, thats why you have EV station and CNG station in those diagrams. Try and get updated and stop the hate

Lol. It's no longer Gburugburu, but now Edeoga. For your information, there's nothing wrong with an Edeoga LP supporter from Nsukka calling out the sordid cluelessness of the Mba administration because it poses a threat to their lives. It's over a year now and the administration has proven itself a monumental failure: from its tough stance against IPOB terrorism (which I supported), its declaration of a state of emergency on the water issue in Enugu, to the now much hyped demolitions and pictorial renders of motor parks (which you have been counting as an achievement for months now), Peter Mba has shown he is comfortable failing as a governor of Enugu State, and only PDP wan..kers like you could still defend this.

We aren't discussing sexual orientation here, and even if we are, you don't know me personally to know my sexual orientation, so I wonder what brought the word "sadist" here.
The issue remains that you have been twerking vigorously for an administration that has raised taxes with nothing to show for it, demolished markets when it has built none, and malevolently pushed hundreds out of self employment when it has created zero job, and that's a very dishonourable thing to be doing. Almost all the planned projects of the Mba administration, which it's even failing at delivering, solve no nagging problem of Enugu people; and the very few that does, the administration has failed woefully in its attempt to deliver them. That's how you know a failed administration, and the fact that you have continued to wag your tails for this same administration while employing some sly means to subvert discussion of its apparent failures are what blew your cover.

A sadist is someone who derives pleasure or enjoyment from causing pain, discomfort, or suffering to others. The term "sadist" comes from the name of the Marquis de Sade, an 18th-century French writer known for his controversial and graphic works that explored themes of sexuality, violence, and cruelty.

In a psychological context, sadism refers to a personality trait or behavior characterized by a desire to harm, dominate, or humiliate others. This can manifest in various ways, such as:

1. Physical sadism: deriving pleasure from causing physical pain or injury.
2. Emotional sadism: enjoying the emotional distress or suffering of others.
3. Sexual sadism: linking sexual pleasure to the infliction of pain or humiliation.

It's important to note that sadism is considered a paraphilic disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), and it can have serious implications for both the individual and their relationships.

Maybe u should learn about contexts in which words are used in. Words doesn't always have only single meaning

I have always known that the meaning of sadist transcends sexual deviancy, but can you remind yourself what you said about it having nothing to do with sexual orientation?
Anyway, I don't give a hoot about your terrible Use of English. If I do, I will be busy giving your last reply a 2/10. Our disagreement stems from your brazen promotion of a failed administration through some very sly, dishonourable ways and I will engage you only on that going forward.

All these people arguing on irrelevant things should stop, rather argue on the basis of performance of the government.

Whether Nsukka or Nike or Nkanu or Agbaja or ishi-uzo doesn't matter. What matters now is his performance. What did he promise us in 100 days, 180 days, a year, two years. These timelines has he been able to keep to them?

These should be our focus nothing else. If we start going by these divisions, then it makes no sense.

The people of amechi awkunanaw recently protested, nchatancha Nike also did the same some time ago. Amechi idodo also recently protested, anyone who knows Enugu to an extent knows how close idodo is to owo mbah's hometown.

Enugu Gov’t and Diasporan investors have sealed a $300 million deal to establish a Medical City

The Government of Enugu State and a group of Nigerians in the diaspora have sealed a deal to build an over $300 million state-of-the-art medical city in the state.

The medical city, which would play in all the value chain of medical services to make Enugu State the hub of medical tourism on the African continent, will see the state provide 100 hectres of land in consideration for which it would get a 10 per cent equity stake in the Special Purpose Vehicle, SPV, for the development.

Welcoming the executive and management of African Medical City, who are mostly Nigerian medical doctors based overseas, Mbah said the state government would discharge its obligations with dispatch to ensure a timely realisation of the initiative, blaming lack of modern facilities for the over $1 billion, which Nigerians are estimated to spend on medical tourism annually.

“What we are witnessing here today is monumental, and we cannot take the value and the significance of it for granted. This is in line with the humongous promise we made to our people during our campaign for office to grow our GDP exponentially from $4.4 billion to $30 billion.

“But we recognised that a lot of that growth will come from the private sector; and we also recognised that it has to be enabled by the government. So, our strategy was to have a government-enabled, but private sector-driven economy.

“So, coming to Enugu with an investment size of over $300 million, we knew it was something that must not escape us when we heard of it. We must do everything necessary to ensure that the investment is not only sitting here, but that we also recruit you as one of our testimonials, people who can market Enugu based on your experience in terms of how we made it easy for you to come here and invest and how we have also shown transparency, accountability and integrity in the entire process.

“You can be assured that we will discharge all those obligations creditably,” the governor said.

Speaking, Chairman of the African Medical City, Dr. Ethelbert Nwanegbo, said the group was attracted to Enugu by the investment and ease of doing business push by the present administration in the state.

“What we are trying to do here is to establish a medical city. A medical city is not just a medical building, to be sure. So, when we think of Africa, we think of Nigeria and think of yesterday.“

In his remark, the President/CEO of African Medical City, Dr. Uchenna Ogbozor, assured that the organisation would hit the ground running.

“African Medical City is a big organisation and we have 21 members as it stands today. So, I want to commend our members, including those that are not here, for their financial commitment and capabilities.

“We are looking at this investment to be an over $300 million investment. The government is giving us 100 hectres of land, representing 10 per cent of the investment”.

Also on the AMC delegation was Mr. Joseph Michael Budetti, a financial advisor.
