The Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Refinery, Aliko Dangote, Sunday said that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation no longer owns a 20 per cent stake in the refinery.

The richest man in Africa stated this while briefing journalists in Lagos State.

According to him: “NNPC no longer owns a 20% stake in the Dangote refinery. They were met to pay their balance in June but have yet to fulfill the obligations. Now, they only own a 7.2% stake in the refinery.”

This is very bad and unacceptable!

It’s a clear case of sabotage from some past or present government officials in exchange for a small stake or share in the company.

Most developed countries usually make sure they buy up major shares in their multinationals. They buy it up and most times sell it to their citizens with a clause of only selling it back to the government should they need their money back.

Why are we so wicked to ourselves. Why do those who claim to love Nigeria hate Nigeria so much in action?
