When he took his oath of office, did he pledge loyalty to Yaya Bello or the Federal republic of Nigeria and the citizens of the state where he governs?
When our leaders perpetrate evil and crimes, we must not eulogize them. We elect them and we must demand their loyalty to us and not the other way round.

A case must be established against Ododo, so that when he is out of office, he can defend himself on obstructing the course of Justice, using his immunity irresponsibly.

Is it not reprehensible that a sitting governor would use his immunity to cover a wanted man? This is not a case of witch hunting by EFCC. If Bello feels that the allegations are not right, he has the responsibility of seeking Justice, not by running away, but by defending himself. Anything short of that, he leaves the citizens with no doubt about his culpability.

The Nigerian law for most part, is a toothless pit bull.

Duties of the Nigerian Police as enshrined in the constitution empowers a policeman on lawful duty to search (upon presentation of a warrant) arrest & detain a law-breaker such as Yahaya Bello.

Therefore, it's a slap on the face of that same law that inspite of the numbers of policemen, DSS, etc attached to the Kogi Government House (where the ex-governor has now taken refuge), not one of them can exercise their powers of arrest; they should all be ashamed of themselves.

That's how one governor recently ordered his security detail to rain heavy slaps on a hapless citizen and without any hesitation, he obeyed the directive not minding the fact that it was an illegal order/action that could lead to charges of assault, battery & depravation of human dignity.
