Under the Federal Election Commission law. A minor (U-18 age)can donate to a party if.
1.If the donation is made knowingly/voluntarily by that minor.
2. If the donation either monetary or goods is coming from an account controlled or a trust in that minor's name.
3.If the contribution is not from a gift to that minor from anybody for the purpose of making that donation by a third party which in this context includes family and friends. It means even your parents must not be known to have influenced your donation.
The guy is 20 years of age, so no issue around that at all.
