The thing makes no sense to me men

Even the so called best governor, Otti, is still digging hole for people to shhhhit and pee in and call it gutter. Hole for people to come out and start saying, it's cause of litter streets are flooded. I just don't get it.

So if one American comes now, or one South African, they will be staring at all the rubbish and wondering if black people are monkeys.

why can't we put effective gutter covers?

What we need is a NATIONAL STANDARD for streets, whereby the national assembly will legislate that EVERY STREET must be built with covered drains, and if there is space, pedestrian sidewalks.

All states will be mandated by federal law to abide by that standard for new roads, and also implement a program of gradual rehabilitation of older street roads in line with the new standards.

After a few years of this, we will see significant transformation of our urban areas.

Why not the national assembly make a law to jail governors who don't build single road.
We have governor of imo state with no road being constructed in imo. We had past governor ikpeazu who didn't care about road

As at now most Nigerians can't maintain closed drainage except highbrow places like Abuja, vI. I stay in UK and I know facility that are put in place by councils to ensure that closed drainage are not clogged entirely.

1)First the people's character or way of life.
2)Then you need a sweeping machine that will sweep the roads
3) then you need people who will go from places to be picking the dirt e.g nylon, paper etc.

Above all is the character of the people that matters. When it rains someone will just empty his or her trash in gutters
