The truth is the immigration has become very strict with visas due to the high influx of people in the country now so, any little doubt, they tend to refuse.

1. What was your destination of visit as declared in your application?

2. How much did you quote as available for your trip?

3. How many days did you declare staying?

4. What was the account balance per bank statement submitted?

5. What is the nature of the bank statement. Is this your salary account? Was there any lumpsum deposit not explained?

6, Did you intend travelling alone (unacocmpanied) as declared in your application or with your family?

I remember something like that in one of my applications in the past so i dont think it is anything to worry about. The main thing is for visa details to be generated for you on the tracker which gives hope for PPR. Did you review what the agents filled before submission. All the best.

I got GCMS not stating that I did not provide enough supporting evidence.

Very simple. You claim in your application that you have a job,family back home as your home tie and going for 10 days holiday in Canada , but suddenly you arrive in Canada and spend 6 months as a visitor. Then you ask for an extension because you need more time to visit other locations in Canada which was granted by ircc , making it 1 year as a visitor. After that, you travel home, stay for 2 months, and then come back to visit again. You may likely be refused entry because you are no longer behaving like a genuine visitor. I have seen that before. The guy even went to Mexico, stayed for 2 weeks, and then came back to Canada, he was refused entry but decided to claim asylum but his case was given expedient hearing date as they see him as suspicious and it all end in asylum rejection after 5 month waiting period and over 2 hours of questioning at the asylum hearing by the judge .

Good day house. Pls I have a bit of an issue, I submitted my TRV application last week and till now it hasn’t showed on the tracker but it shows on the CIC portal. Is there something I can do about it? Also, biometrics hasn’t updated to “complete” yet but it shows the biometrics number from my ongoing Spousal PR sponsorship application. Is there a need to be worried?
Also, how long does Spousal TRV take to process these days? Thanks in advance.

Extension doesn’t lead to change of status to work permit. You’d simply have another 6 months visit visa.
What’s your spouse studying for? Diploma? masters? PhD?
For you to change to work permit, you’d have to get a job with an LMIA approved company within the initial 6 months or the additional 6 months if extension is granted and use the job offer to apply for work permit.
Legit LMIA job offer is difficult to get though.

Congratulations, why not submit your passport as requested, visit Canada and don't overstay? Renew the passport as at when indicated, you will get a faster response since it won't be your first time with a longer visa duration.

Not sure where you got what you quoted except you want to re-phrase your question. I dont know of any application that cant be tracked.

Biometrics wasn’t needed.

Are you in Nigeria? If yes you can still get a new passport depending on how much time you have to submit your passport. Currently en route to collect my new passport. The old one will expire in February 2025 before u can submit an application.

This is very easy to fix. Try go to an immigration office and talk physically to one of them. Na naija you dey.

In your case, you can renew on the ground that your passport got missing hence the need for renewal. Meet any immigration officers in any station, and they will attend to you. This will require a the usual financial cost. Don't forget to tell them the urgency so you don't miss out the deadline for submission. I hope this helps.

You said you had U.S. visa earlier and now has a Canada visa approval. If you claims your passport is missing just to get canada visa 10 years , please be aware that the U.S. and Canada share a database. If you later appear at the U.S. border with the same passport you reported missing, you could face some issues. Be careful!

It doesn't work that way.
If u want to track ur application, u will first of all register on the tracking app with the email address u used in ur application. Only then would you be able to track ur application.
