This became worse in 2016/2017. The herdsmen sack villages and for many months the villagers would be frightened to come back to their communities. The inner southwest media are so censored to report these incidents.
The herder menace is worse in Southwest than Benue, Taraba, Plateau, Southern Kaduna, etcetera. The locals in these aforementioned states fight back that's why one hears the News. But in Yoruba land, the locals are discouraged, almost prohibited from fighting back by their elites that they can only resort to abandoning their villages and fled for their lives. It's sad that even in Tinubu led federal government, the Fulani menace in the Southwest still persists.

Sunday Igboho still calling out Fulanis in the Southwest is not been irresponsible but he is trying to convey the real situation.
