Remman:Carry on eating soya. The same people that told you cow milk was good for you we now realize it was because they had excess of cow milk. The same people who told you butter was bad and margarine was good we now find margarine is bad and butter is much better. The same people who told you ribena was good for you we now find it is full of sugar, I spend my childhood eating plants annd blue and margarine because we were told it was healthy, decades later we now learn it’s one of the most dangerous things you can put in your mouth and so on and so forth. The same people who told you to take untested Covid vaccines, we now find out people are dying of heart attacks and the ivermectin they didn’t want you to use is more effective. They don’t want you using ivermectin because ivermectin is cheap and out of patent. Just as they want you consuming the type of oils they can plant. Soy, rapeseed, etc, they are bad oils. You clearly do not know how the Academic medical and pharmacy community and the corresponding big business partners and the research funding the receive work. No business is going to find the research of an academic to say his product is bad. On the contrary they will find research with a pretldetermined positive outcome like they did with milk. Nobody has ever said olive oil is bad or oranges are bad for you or yam or potatoes or pineapple etc etc because these are naturally occurring time consumed foods. Soya is new to the human diet. If a food exists and there is a debate split down the middle even in the medical community then it is a cue not to eat that food. If my parents didn’t eat it, I am not eating it. But hey feel free to eat soya and its products. But remmember one of the reason the west promotes soya is because it is the oil they can produce. The demonised palm oil for decades, now that they have an obesity crisis suddenly they are all using palm oil derived cooking oil and touting it as healthy. Like I said carry on with your soya. No fight there. And while you are at it look at the ingridients of the so called powdered or evaporated milk you are consuming, many of you do not know you are consuming processed palm oil. |

It shall never be well with Tinubu and APC. Tinubu and those in power seem not to realize what is awaiting them if the planned protest successfully see the light of the day. What happened in Kenya would be a child's play. |

casualobserver:from my grandparents to my parents (father side) to me and my siblings we eat soybeans daily and i'm a living witness. I still have four times sex with my spouse & mistresses a day. I don't need anyone to lie to me that the earth is flat just because they believe so without evidence. If soybean was bad for men, it would have been bad on me. I already have four kids, my younger an health educator and he consumes it. We don't even have cancer or diabetic in our family tree. We're a soybeans family. We're the evidence to the false claims. This is not related to covid19 that was made in a lab. Soybeans was made by God. Even the white mafia that brought covid to reduce your population said that Africans made it with strong DNA because of their diets, and now they're trying to attack our diet via GMO seeds. In conclusion, SOYBEAN is very healthy for the black man's health. God made it without poisoning it! |

Remman:Clap for yourself and carry on. No be fight. For the attention of others who Like I said food that is not natural to me I do not eat. Soy beans is alien to Nigeria and it is alien to the human diet. It was introduced to Nigeria in 1908. Our ancestors did not eat soy. In fact soy was not a food eaten globally until the 1960s. Like I said those who ate soy (Chinese) prepared it differently. |

| Re: Nairalanders, Are You Still Eating Beans?? by casualobserver: 6:23pm On Jul 16, 2024 |
Remman:Oga no be fight carry on and I hope you live longer than your grandfather. BTW Soy as a food was only introduced to Nigeria in 1908, it wasn’t eaten as an oil until recently. Oils like palm and groundnut oil have been consumed for over 5000 yrs in Africa, olive oil is mentioned in the Bible. There is a bigger body of evidence of the effect of consumption of oils like palm, groundnut and olive than soy. A man can smoke cigarettes his entire life and not get cancer, that does not mean cigarettes are not dangerous. Global consumption of soy oil is less than 60 years, nobody can say for a fact that it is safe. Those who consumed soya consumed it as a food meal after a process of fermentation not as an oil. |

| Re: Nairalanders, Are You Still Eating Beans?? by casualobserver: 7:22pm On Jul 16, 2024 |
Remman:I am not changing topic, Yes with hindsight you mentioned beans and the thread was about beans but I was always talking primarily about soy Oil because the majority who consume soy especially in Nigeria and globally consume it via oil. I said it from the get go that those for whom soya is a staple (the Asians) eat it after a fermentation process that clearly alters the food just like cassava which is poisonous in raw form. However that you are not prepared to defend oil says it all. 90% of those who consume Soya (knowingly or unknowingly) do so via oil and for them the safety of soy oil is relevant again nobody can say it is safe because humans have not consumed oil long enough especially at scale like today. Therefore I stick to what I know for sure is safe before the same advocates who claim it is safe to sell oils, turn around next decade (when they have found a cheaper oil) to say actually soy oil does indeed cause this and that. Is it not the same AstraZeneca that told you Covid vaccines were safe that recently admitted they are not. Is it not the same people that said ivermectin cannot cure Covid that later turned round to say it does. Their excuse was not enough research, but somehow rushing out a vaccine that normally takes 10 years is enough research? Did I read “soya”, jump the gun and proceed to talk about oil when in fact the topic was about the meal, possibly and I put my hands up. But 1) soy even as a meal was until recently only considered by the mainstream as only good enough for animal consumption and 2) no one can say for definite soy oil is safe because human consumption is not even up to 1 life cycle. Therefore given the concerns raised, especially when medics and scientists have different opinions, I defer to the side of caution when it comes to soy oil. I don’t use it, though I am aware outside my home I cannot control what people use to cook the food they serve me. That is only a problem if I eat out a lot. The proliferation in the consumption of soy products is largely a result of economics and we know than when economics and safety compete, economics always win. |

casualobserver:Okay, now i see the problem, how old are you, kid? Let me run through a short check. Op asked about beans, i responded by suggesting soya beans. You mentioned me with your false rumour that soya beans is bad for men. I made a research and discovered that it's a false misconception by people. To continue in your illusion because like flat earthers, you've believed in your unproven theory to be true because you want it to be true while it's clearly not. Now you're saying soy oil. That's another false thread. But i must confess, the only part i love about you is that you say your point without insult which kind of make me think you're matured, even though your claims say otherwise. You're ahead of some people here. Nice one! |

Remman:It lowers sperm count and cause for small penis with young males who are fed that by their parents from young and I feel Big FMCG manufacturers that make use of Soy mainly in manufacturing those cereal fake foods that they have perverted the media to brainwash parents to give these foods to their children as foods for children are sponsoring all of these hoax "studies" to try and make Soy the food of the masses all for profit. |
