MufasaLion:
Do you know what it means for 80% of the land to be cultivated by the military personnels?

Does that make sense to you? Military personnels working as farm laborers? Is that their constitutional duty?

How many personnels do you have in Nigeria?

If majority of them are to be the ones to cultivate, then everyone in Nigeria is prone to more security risks from external forces. I wonder how y'all are wired this way. It's unfortunate.
Military Land, please what do you think is the size of undeveloped military land? And if 80% of the undeveloped military land are cultivated by military men, what percentage of the military do you think this amounts to? Pretty sure your brain interpreted that to mean 80% of military men. The described land is not even sufficient for military men interested in farming. Oh, really? The military is actually preventing Nigeria from external forces? First time I ever see a typical ipob admitting the military actually plays a crucial security role. Yet here you are, after typing the nonsense, concluded with "I wonder how y'all are wired this way". I bet your IQ competes favourably with that of baby goats.

Our government should invest in Agriculture and make the sector to be more attractive than political offices in Nigeria. Presently Nigerian youths don't want to be affiliated to farming due to lack of mentorship which has make that sector to be unattractive for many years
If government can standout to invest in young farmers and even buy the end product from them at an attractive price. What a good way it will be to solve the problem of unemployment and hunger nationwide.

Instead of allowing them to focus on insecurity, you want to turn them to farmers😁

Maybe he thought by farming in the mil zones, the farmers will be protected ?

He should hold meetings to address bandits, herdsmen and headman.

I know people can be stupid but I never knew this man can be this stupid. The number of people who dwell in cities in the US is more than those who dwell in rural farm areas, so how come the country produces enough to cater for the citizens? It is through mechanized modern farming.

But this idiot called a president wakes up in the morning and give vague and foolish directives all in the name of speaking. I'm not surprised. A man who said they should recruit 50 million youths into the army can actually say anything.
At the moment, I'm not a fan of Tinubu but you have taken your madness to extreme by addressing the president who old enough to be your grandad as stupid and idiot. That's highly uncouth of you. But this is the outcome when you're raised by irresponsible parents

How do these people think ? Deal with insecurity first before there can be food security . There are enough farmers in Nigeria ready to farm but they can’t because they can’t without being killed .

I know people who invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in Oyo state for farming and they had to close shop because of insecurity . We have leaders who are detached from reality

You have a good point but however, the problem we have is not land or resources. The issues are webbed. Security, lack of modern-day technology, mentorship and the will to practice farming.

Get the heck out of my mention with this jaundiced understanding of everything. What do you think is the size of military land in question? I can bet your brain was assuming "80% of land to be cultivated by military men" to mean "80% of military men will be farming". Simple primary school arithmetic a kindergarten will interprete effortlessly. You are here even throwing insults despite display of stark ignorance and illiteracy.

We are in a very big problem.
How can a sane president order unused land in military barracks to be cultivated.

Is it the military that are supposed to go after bandit and insurgents that are to cultivate the land ?

Nigeria is not lacking land. We see wide expanse of uncultivated land everywhere.

Protect Nigeria farmers from bandit and insurgents and there will be food.

If Tinubu get 2027, it means Nigerians needs to suffer more. Their mumu never do.

The people he rely on are not advising well.

overtime the government has been enabling boko haram sponsors and ensuring they wipe out the rural farmers so they can take over their lands for rural grazing areas (RUGA). Today they have a ministry of livestock that they can use to extend their reach on acquiring more land for RUGA.

Meanwhile Wike is thinking of how to put Rivers state money in his pocket

The situation is terrible.it needs a quick short term intervention.

This president has nothing upstairs.
So you that wants to prove you have something upstairs doesn’t realize that the best time to plant was yesterday and the next best time is today

Someone has instructed that the armed forces put empty land to productive use that will even benefit the military itself and you’re criticizing
