That's false. Wole Sonyinka had access to all the presidents he criticised. He would always visit them in Aso Rock but became their nightmare at some point.

Now, instead of criticizing his friends in power, he is busy attacking Obi and OBIdients (young people demanding a working country in their time). It was Wole Sonyinka's generation that destroyed the prosperous country the British handed over to them.

It's not really like that from findings. Someone can only be shouting on something that is wrong and you don't know what and what is been done to better it. But when you are given an explanation beyond a reasonable doubt and you yourself was asked to proffer likely solution then it will be very difficult to start shouting unnecessarily again as an activists. except just to only cause confusion or one didn't like the government. If Falana is the Attorney general or given a committee to held on solving a major national issue and several documents not in the public were presented to him, so he understands everything now and proffer solutions. how will he say something against solution provided by himself. So my brother it's not they keep quiet but they know the truth. Ok, imagine federal government announced Nairaland has an official platform to monitor and report the activities of the LG in every part of the country. You will notice that naturally people will stop making unverified statements and be guided without anyone telling them to do so because a lot of events will be known and clearer to the people and you can be held responsible for your reports.
