I live in Germany, if you are married and have kids,forget Germany. There are alot of challenges in Germany, the language, it's not a friendly country like Canada or USA. Germany is tough believe me. USA and Canada are better, you have less challenges.. German language is not an easy language, without you speaking it to standard you can't get a good job, secondly if you don't have legal paper, person dey play with depression . Germany will frustrate your life die

I lived in Germany for years. Surely its not the best place to study in view of their racial discrimination lifestyles. Why not try Netherlands, home from home to foreigners. With your #18million you would live like a king.At the end of your course you can choose to be a permanent citizen. Its allowed. I studied at schipol airport in 1986. Try Netherlands and thank me later.Good luck brother.

This is totally not correct. What part of Canada are you? In my province, people have 2-4 jobs and reject shifts at will. You may be out of job if you are in places like Ontario, BC etc. Na you dey find big man area to settle in. Strategize before leaving Nigeria, I will recommend you go for hard to find skilled jobs like healthcare etc and go to a province where they need people. Na you go tire for work

18 million naira is too low for a student visa to Canada. If you manage to get the visa how are you gonna survive there. Pay the full tuition fees and living expenses. Also studying in Canada is no more a sure path to getting PR like years ago. People are suffering seriously but they will never come online to say it. Forget about finding a job and using it to pay fees as people are unemployed for more than one year now.

I 4 use yarb nack your head but I won't do that. By the grace of God I am a German citizen living in Germany. I am talking the situation of things, I am not discouraging the guy cos most Nigerians are not well Informed about situations before jumping into something. The guy has his choice am just saying it's not like what people are saying or what you see in movies when you see a white girl running after blacks , it happens but it not the way the movies presented it. The opportunity you will get in America or Canada you don't have in Germany, no one will employ you if you don't have legal status in Germany, secondly no one will will employ if you don't speak German. Many people don kolo for here due to mental sickness. It's in Germany I know what mental sickness is, German knows how to deal with you mentally. Don't get my message twisted, if the person in question still wants to come, he should be prepared he is coming to fight war. As a single it's not easy but he is married with kids, tell me how is he going to get his residence permit? If he doesn't get married to German citizen or get a child from German citizen? Next time be calm when people living in Germany are talking, GRA GRA no go help you

Frankly I want to avoid this debate about Germany Vs Canada in this topic. So I will leave that.

I support your opinion though. When I moved (through PR-PNP), I noticed a lot of People then wanted BC, AB, ON. I “ Jejely” considered cost of living, quiet place to raise kids if I get married, where to easily buy a house, a conservative province, etc etc. Arriving Sask, the jobs were there. And even till date the same Company that recruited people , especially students that I arrived with in Sask l, are still having positions open till date! And they pay from 18 CAD Per Hour for Child Care Providers in Child Care Homes. Most of the Ladies went into Child Care. The Province also enjoys the Child Care Benefits of up to 500 CAD per month per child if you are PR. Women with 3 kids here are getting 1500 CAD which helps with ALL Utility bills plus groceries, while they work two jobs.

Back then, No one was looking at SK. Everyone wanted top and warmer provinces. I am not saying they are wrong for doing so. It is just that as you said, Strategy is important. I intentionally avoided those MAJOR CITIES AND PROVINCES. Today, even within CA as a country, many citizens and residents (people) are moving to Sask. due to lower cost of living and less Social issues like the drug addiction and homelessness in BC, especially Vancouver.

Like everything in life there are disadvantages. First, it is a colder province and generally colder country than many others including Nigeria. Also, if you are looking for the Nigerian life of merriment and noise and large population of people you won’t get it. Most of Canada and Saskatoon is quieter than most Nigerian Cities. Meaning, you might miss the social interactions you easily have in Nigeria, as the entire country is a “mind your business and be polite” sort of country. Also, Nigerian’s don’t interact much or support one another much as the Arabs and Asians (especially Indians) do. Nigerians still have this evil spirit of Unhealthy Competition and competitiveness where they are only excited and appear WHEN IT IS TIME TO SHOW OFF, SHOW SUCCESS, DISPLAY WEALTH AND RUB IT IN THE FACE OF FELLOW NIGERIANS!!! That is all Nigerians are usually good for. The “pepper them” ; “show them we are ballers and living large” and “See? I better pass you, my car fine pass your own” mentality is still rife. They may claim and lie that is is not true, but ask them why and how Indians and Arabs are taking over the country? They may claim that they will assist but do not count on any Nigerian 100%. HAVE solid multiple backup plans in case Nigerian fails you. Someone says it is because we all know ourselves to be evil. Because you can help a Nigerian and then run into big trouble in many ways! The person’s argument is that Nigerians also know how to be evil and criminal and dubious. And when they are in that state, they forget the good you have done to them, when they want to be criminally minded for selfish and greed inspired and motivated gains.

I'm considering applying for the new opportunity card but I'm skeptical if I can get a job within that one year of visa with little or no knowledge of German. Of course I'll enroll to learn the language when I get there but I'ld need a job to survive while learning.

Since you rejected UK, I know my advice won't be for you, but I'll just say it anyways for others coming up here. Why would you want to leave a country where your dollar you earn is higher and you can sustain perfectly instead of moving to a country you spend same dollar. If you earn 3000$ a month, bro house rent and bills will render you a pauper. You're better off in Nigeria, but Nigeria is bleeped so I will recommend another African country. Rwanda is the best bet. Not only is the dollar you're earning really high there, it's way better than Nigeria. To be honest, you may earn more than me in dollars or I may earn more than you, cause I'm a motion designer. But when I travelled to UK with my meagre $$$$ salary a month, I knew I was going to be a very poor human. I came back. I live in a 4 bedroom duplex on the island paying 4.5m a year, that should have been over 15m a year if I was in uk.
