Igbos are not the only ethnic group in Nigeria.
Re: From 1955 To Date, No Igbo Had Ever Held The Position Of Cjn . What Are Their Si by Dpharisee:
It starts from recruitment of Judges, as an unwritten rule, lawyers from certain tribes are recruited as judges to Supreme Court at their advanced age while Northerners are engaged at lower ages with basic qualifications of LLB, meanwhile other tribes including Igbos with higher qualifications such as PhD which takes extra years to acquire are recruited for the same rank and position with Northerners of younger ages.

By the time it gets to the appointment of CJN those who came into the system at their later years are all retired and appointment of CJN us based on line of succession and seniority. Even Mary Odili with all her political backing and quick rise in the system couldn't make it.

It is a deliberate scheme to keep out some people not only Igbos out of that position

Just like every position in life, you have to work hard and earn it.
No one is going to hand it over to you if you are not fit enough

Have you considered that most of your people prefer dabbling into one criminal venture or the other ?

Besides, as one poster rightly said, Ibos are not the only people in Nigeria.

Many other tribes have not occupied the position.

What gives you the temerity and audacity to demand for such an esteemed and revered position ?

Here they come again, the descendants of primitive forest-dwelling ancestors, always complaining about everything!

Why dem no fit hold the position? Na because dem dey focus on their own wahala instead of unity. If you no dey work together, how you go expect to reach top? Dem fit dey claim say na discrimination, but na their own division dey hold dem back.
