Wow..such a traumatic thing for the father. Am sure he won't believe it will go this far. Please let's control our anger

The level of anger in this country is something else. The way Nigerians yell at each other, on the road, in a meeting, within the neighbourhood and even at home is terrible. Some transfer their anger on their children and those living with them

The children of nowadays are becoming something else, he must've pounded his father before his father weaponized the fight.

In Ilorin, a boy of his age rushed home from school and met his father at home, he asked of his mother and he told the boy that she was at the farm, he said he was coming, some minutes later he returned home and said he was leaving, his father saw blood coming out from the bag he kept outside, only to find his wife head in the bag. As the boy said he was leaving, he said okay, immediately he turned his back to leave, his father cabled his bag with a pump action and that was how he died.

So that man may not be guilty. If my son wrestles me, I can't say I will kill him because I don't wish for such, but he may not also survive it. Never wrestle your father! Don't do it!

Majority of the problems experienced by humanity are caused by ANGER,LUST,GREED AND JEALOUSY.
Anger is cruel and destructive but who can stand before JEALOUSY?(Proverbs 27:4).
The family must be a seriously dysfunctional one because how does one begin to explain the reason why a father would use a potentially dangerous object like a shovel to hit his teenage son.
No matter the level of provocation, the father shouldn't have picked up the shovel.
Moreover the son probably picked a weapon to challenge him,but it's not a justification.
He should have called youths in the area , report him to them and have them thoroughly discipline him.
