It's very possible but that 18 year old will be a fool if he thinks he can do that simply by being a primary school dropout that will earn 70k minimum wage or a staff of a company or civil servant, he needs to start thinking of founding his company and more importantly the problem that his company will solve

Thank you for this submission, now remember that we are in a Nigeria where our schools are stuffed with outdated courses and mundane curriculum where youth are thought to go through the school in order to be qualified for WORK.
No matter how we bend it, these are still kids that need direction and they just happen to be stuck in a country where it is too easy to have a derailed destiny.
Going by your submission, 1 out of 250 will go that far and even after moving in that line of thought, bad government and unfavourable business environment awaits.

The point is there no correlation btw the minimum wage and a bag of rice.

If you compare it with the cost of living and inflation, that'll make more sense.

1 bag of rice can carry a family of 2 for 6-8months before you buy another one.
