Obaseki be doing too much lately. He's succeeded in making more enemies than pals and loyalists (not sycophants). The man is short sighted and will suffer along the line. Except he cowardly escapes and abandon politics forever...

Unless in other climes,which I even doubt,but it's the governor or president that gives final approval as per any appointee of his/her deputy.
Shaibu cannot just appoint and assign them to office,he has to forward the names to the governor for approval.
He has lost this one again.
All those goading Shaibu along are just pathetic.
Someone like shaibu will do worse than Obaseki if he becomes governor,let no one be deceived.

If APC should win the September 21 election, the state will withdraw the appeal and all outstanding payments due for the office of Shuaibu will be paid...
Unfortunately the Tax payers money is been used to settle political friends and same money is used to fight political foes.

Bro you're rough,if Obaseke should disobey court order by following what the constitution says both of them will suffer it and Shaibu will be paid all his entitlement and his aides immediately another governor step in because the president has power to withhold Edo state monthly allocation, please don't forget that the era of Buhari is gone

How long will he continue financing this from his personal pocket? He is not recognized by the State institutions & can't make any valid decision. There is an appeal & stay of execution on judgement already. He is just going about this the wrong way. Same way he fell out with Oshiomhole. We are the same thing... As it stands now Shuaibu is not doing anything to gain anything from Obaseki but to frustrate the remaining months of their tenure. And at the same time making money for himself from the next government.

If PDO retains the seat this year, Shuaibu will never get any benefit as an ex deputy governor.

Unfortunately Tinubu has no reason to withhold Edo state’s allocation. Do not also forget that Edo state is one of the biggest contributors to the national purse.

Obaseki, aside from roads, has done quite well in Edo state. Institutions have become better with him. He paid 70K minimum wage long ago. He’s organized the modular refinery, etc.

I expect PDP to win inspite of the braggadocio of APC and Shuaibu.

Okay, by the nature of law president can't withhold states allocation but the law and our constitution now spell out that state governors can now withhold the allocation that meant for his deputy,
please can you ask Tinubu his ugly experienced during his tenure so Lagos state didn't not contribute penny towards the economy of Nigeria then, if he fails to comply with the court order you will pity him later,can you fight federal government and win you should understand that Shaibu is technically representing the Federal government in this mater, who provided security for him I think it should be Obaseke or IGP and APC just want to use Shaibu to destroy Obaseke to avenge Edo no bey Lagos last election

The question you asked doesn't suggest anything close to service.

If I may ask, what is strategic and good about an illegal pronouncements? We have only one office of the deputy governor and by law and any form of legitimacy, he is not the occupant. Are you then supporting any action that is by itself chaotic and illegal?

You cannot also be talking about the office of the deputy governor when the outcome of the court case that recognized his impeachment as illegal has been stayed.

Let us try as much as possible not to allow our emotions to have a better part of us.
