Any candidate that would defeat a bini candidate in any election in edo will try perpetually. Oshio baba's case was clear and unique. They wanted teaching Lucky igbinedion a lesson for looting the state dry. He was also loved and he did well. He's no more in power today

The only way out for Obaseki is to form an alliance with LP, else what happen in the general election will happen in Edo State.
APC is currently on course to reclaim Edo State, and no amount of rigging can stop it....
And come 2027, if there is no alliance between PDP/LP, APC will surely be reelected again
