It's not unexpected in Ethiopia. Christianity started there during the era of the apostles. After Antioch, Alexandria, Ethiopia comes next as the earliest Christian cities. The conquest of Muslims in North Africa in 70AD brought drastic decline to Christian population in the middle east. Even Sudan was once a Christian dominated country until the Islamic conquest.

The Muslims tried to snatch Spain and Greece like they did to turkey but they were defeated brutally. All thanks to the crusade.
I’m very sure your shape of head would made you think like a dullard 😂

In the next presidential election, try christian christian ticket and see whether you will win, your analysis is far from the truth.

You can just check Senate and see if Muslims are more than christians, from there you will know the truth.
The reason why it seems like Moslems are more than Christians in Nigeria is because of the Hausa language that Hausa-Fulanis used to conquer and unify the whole North (Middlebelt, Northeast, Northwest) to always present one Northern front.

2023 Presidential election exposed this decade-long lie as Peter Obi flogged them even from an unknown structureless party. Peter Obi won the election by highest number of votes gotten, that was why they shutdown the INEC portal to cover the lies they had been telling you.

If Middlebelt who are predominantly Christians pull out from that one Northern political front they always present which they are doing gradually, you will then realize that Moslem Christian population in Nigeria is like 40% Moslems to 60% Christians.

Middlebelt is predominantly Christians and that is why Fulanis are trying everything possible to wipe them off from that region.

Northeast have a very large Christian population too. Only Northwest have low Christian population in the North. That alone should tell you that Christians are more than Moslems in Nigeria if you do a free, fair population census.

If you come down South, it's only in Southwest that Moslems are more than Christians by very small margin, the rest of Southeast and Southsouth are predominantly Christians.

So the reason we have more Moslem Senators in Nigeria is because of the Hausa language factor which the Hausa-Fulanis used to conquer and unite the entire North into their Hausa-Fulani political agenda which the Northern Christians are beginning to realize starting from Middlebelt people who are now aligning more with Southeast and Southsouth politically more than before, that was why Peter Obi won Plateau, Taraba, Abuja and Benue before the massive rigging.

It's high time Nigerian Christians embraced politicking with their full chest, just as the Northern Muslims are doing. The Nigerian Christian population is higher than the Muslim population, but the Northern muslims have succeeded in hypnotizing everyone into believing in their dominance. You'd think the North is a vast islamic monolith until you actually visit states like Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba, Kaduna, Borno, etc...The Christians are the silent majority in this country and it's high time we became loud in policies and politics.

That's the truth.

Especially in Middlebelt, Northeast and Southwest.

Southwest Christians are too docile, they will be forming sophisticated people while the Yoruba Moslems use style to corner all the political positions in alliance with Northern Moslems who use Hausa to deceive Northern Christians into believing they are one North just as Yoruba Moslems use "we are Yoruba first before our religion" to deceive Yoruba Christians while stylishly taken over the Southwest political structure and pushing the Christians away.

This is why they hate Igbos and Southeast, they know Southeast aka Igbos are the pillar of Christianity in Nigeria who have refused to allow Islam infiltrate Southeast region like other regions. This is the main reason they don't want an Igbo man to become Nigeria's President but Nigerian Christians don't know, they think it's just because Igbos are Igbos or because they tried to secede from Nigeria, it is beyond that, it's mostly about religion.

You know your thread is fake and deceptive but you still posted it but don't want fight.

You should have made this comment under that post if you're being realistic.

Next you will show is the population of Muslims in Nigeria and they are 124 million Bla Bla Bla. Keep using Taqiyya to deceive yourself.

Christians have very higher population than Islam in Nigeria. No census have been done about religion, there are high percentage of Christians in core North compared to Muslims in core South.

Igbo is the largest Christian ethnic group in Africa.

Nasarawa has 13 LGAs with 7 heavy Christian. Karu alone is almost like 30℅ of the state which is the most populated and is Christian dominated, also , Akwanga, N/Eggon, Kokona, Obi , Keana and Doma are heavy pulated LGAs with small size of Muslims.
In Adamawa 16 of the 21 LGAs are predominantly Christians. Adamawa North and South Are predominantly Christians while Muslims are mostly in the Central
I see. But how come Ad and Nas mostly produce Muslim governors and senators?

Christians don't vote across religious line like the Muslims.
In fact, more than half of Tinubu's vote is from the Christian States.
Go and verify from the official inec results!
From plateau, Benue,Edo, gombe south, ekiti, ebonyi,Taraba, etc!
Christians are not religious when it comes to politics!

There were a lot of riggings in other christians dominated states especially in the east,
Who told you that christians are more tolerant, speak for yourself please, I attend to customers daily here in Lagos and I know which one is more tolerant.

During presidential election in Lagos State, I did not see a single hausa or Fulani man coming out to vote in my area ,yet they were around, don't think christians are much in Lagos State that is why Peter Obi won in Lagos State, youths voted for him regardless of religion even my Muslims friends who are youths voted for him, don't deceiv yourself.
You are not getting the point, by tolerance I mean religious tolerance not just behavioral tolerance.

And by religious tolerance I'm not talking about Southern Muslims and you know it.

That aside Northerners always see politics as a do or die affair especially when there's the possibility of a Christian contesting against them in the north. In Plateau State Hon Yusuf Gagdi is a Muslim that was voted twice in a Federal House of Reps constituency were Muslims are just 20% this will never happen where Muslims are just 40% or above cos. In states where the Deputy Governors are Christians, check you will see that Muslims are either 40 to 45% or above while Christians are either more or equally distributed. This is because Christians don't normally view politics as something to die for especially when it involves religious connotations. So please we won't be accepting lopsided statistics when we know the truth on ground is different from what is paraded on paper

This is to inform those who will not be taking part in the August 1st protest to stay in their various houses on that day and allow those who want to embark on the protest to do it peacefully. If you say you are okay with Tinubu's government, it's fine! Stay at home! Allow those who are feeling the heat of this administration protest against hunger and hardship in peace, in any part of the country. You cannot be dictatorial! Allow people to exercise their fundamental rights!

Shalom!
Not protesting does not equal to being ok with the regime. Stop putting words into people's mouth. It's a sign of desperation and fraud. And destroys every good intention your contribution presents.

You're wrong! Christians are about 63℅ in Nigeria

Check major cities in Nigeria that are dominated by Christians: Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Jos, and even Kaduna are 55/45 in favor of Muslims. Aside from Kano and Bauchi which major cities are dominated by Muslims? Non
Christians are majority in 22 states and FCT

It's a lie to say Muslims are more than Christians when Christians dominate in most of the Geo political zones. South South is ours, East is ours, West we get am, North central we have Christians spread through out the States, same with North East and North West, kaduna have so much Christians. Who is deceiving who in this country that Muslims are more.
So, how come Nigeria has a Muslim-Muslim presidency?

Muslims dominate the North West and slightly over the North East. For the North Central, Muslims dominate the region. Any dominance by Christians was pre-Buhari. There is no way Christians dominate the North Central after the brutal massacres which characterised the region under Buhari.

Nigeria's future is Islamic. Better get used to it.

Polygamy doesn't increase population. The number of women giving birth does.
If you have 100 Muslim women and 100 Christian women in a country, Polygamy won't make your population to increase but rather, it will decrease by divorce and remarry with attendant child mortality rate.
A nice observation there and you are correct. Here: https://www.prb.org/resources/polygamy-in-west-africa-impacts-on-fertility-fertility-intentions-and-family-planning/

The next question is: which region has the highest birth rate? If the highest fertility rates are found in Muslim-dominated regions, then Muslims are the fastest-growing in the country.

Useless figure from the pit of hell.

Christians are more than Moslems in Nigeria don't let any liar deceive you.Southeast is homogeneously Christians that make up around 95% of the SE population, with 4.9% traditional worshippers and Atheists, 0.0001% Moslems, and population of Southeast is around 50million plus.Yoruba is 52% Moslem, 45% Christian, the rest are Ifa worshippers and Atheists. And Yoruba population is around 53million. Southsouth is predominantly Christians; 80% Christians, 8% Moslems and the rest traditional worshippers, and the population of Southsouth is around 45million. Middlebelt is predominantly Christians with around 65% Christians, 30% Moslems, and 5% traditional worshippers and Atheists, and Middlebelt population stand around 40million. Northeast is predominantly Moslems with around 78% Moslems, 17% Christians and 5% traditional worshippers, etc, with a total population of around 41million. Northwest is the most predominantly Moslem region in Nigeria with around 92% Moslems, 5% Christian and 3% other religions and their population stand around 55million.
So how can Christians be 76million in Nigeria?
While your numbers are interesting, please where did you source them from?

UstazAhmed:
Be deceiving your self. We have more single women Christians than Muslims. One man in Islam, can give birth to 20 kids from his four wives. But an average Christian won't birth more than 5
Here: https://www.prb.org/resources/polygamy-in-west-africa-impacts-on-fertility-fertility-intentions-and-family-planning/

The next question is: which region has the highest birth rate? If the highest fertility rates are found in Muslim-dominated regions, then Muslims are the fastest-growing in the country. Polygamy does not lead to an increase in fertility rates. What we should be interested is in the actual fertility rates amongst each fertile woman in the Muslim north vs the Christian south. The religion in the region with the highest TFR rate wins it.

To better answer the bold, here is the answer:

The misconception is seen today. People often reflexively mis-explain polygamy as the cause of the higher population growth in northern Islamic Africa compared to southern Christian Africa. While Islamic Africans may have a higher fertility rate, the reason is not attributed to polygamy, but the age at which women first become pregnant, usually correlated to education. The more a society educates its women, the lower the fertility rate
