See a failure calling someone a zombie.

Go and look for work or go and discover your career, you don't deserve to be called a son of any parent.

Most of what the Op claim up there are lies!

The question is why telling lies? People that are allergic to lies would surely counter his claim. That’s not in anyway tribal fight..

There wouldn’t be any argument if OP didn’t posted lies up there..

Met her in 2007 when I went for sp-25 exam at NCAT Zaria.
The woman get bad mouth.
Imagine dismissing I and my friend that morning saying she's not sure we took our bath.
Like for real? Who would come for an important exam like that without taking a bath?
I was disappointed in her that day.

The first Professor of Medicine is from the south western Nigeria. A Yoruba man and I actually don’t have the time to factcheck you but I am sure most of your list are wrong. The first professor of physics in Africa is also a Yoruba Professor named Ajakaiye. Kindly throw your fake statistics in the bin grin
Why are you trying to defend Yorubas? It's best to ignore them.

Look at the oil industry. Niger Deltana have complained about Yorubas taking their jobs in oil companies. In the federal Civil service, Yorubas are well represented.

Igbos have done well for themselves. They are probably the richest ethnic group in Nigeria.

Looool I cannot but laugh at your lame excuse at chest beating once again I can truly see that IGBO means means i (go) before others, when people were already setting the pace academically in the west your people were running around naked in your market square ,such that even the first person to translate a Bible to your language was a Yoruba man ,you can deny so many things because your eye don open now ,but the fact still remains that academically the west set the pace

Your view about my write up is well understood. You deem it hypocritical, no offense taken. I am just airing my opinion about how I see tribalism. We all are at fault. I am trying to propose a remedy which is for us as a country to go back to ground zero, back to a state of healthy competition without the bitterness and the hatred which has been brought about by spiteful comments about superiority. Like it or not, it is talk about superiority that brings out the worst out of us all. The only thing talks about superiority has elicited is the desire to prove the other party wrong, the desire to subdue and with it spite, hatred and rivalry. When talks about equity, equality and unity is brought to the fore, then and only then can the nation move forward.
You make valid points but sadly it’s not conceivable in reality, because you’re trying to fight human nature. Humans will always compete for resources and status. We evolved to have our identity and existence tied to belong to a group ( “Tribe”). It’s ingrained in our DNA. What you’re asking for is a more civilized society (equity, equality and unity) that is more conceivable (using other methods cos even western society still have to deal with racism/nepotism).

Tribalism can never be completely erased from an inter-tribal society like Nigeria especially when it is used as a power tool by the elites.

Igbos are the poorest of the 3 major ethnic groups. Out of the 5 richest Nigerians, 2 are Northerners, 3 are Yorubas, no Igbo.

The most successful Nigerians are outside the country. This is an exercise in futility. But if one is still interested in carrying out such surveys, then go ahead and beam the searchlight globally. You would find out what you need is not competition among tribes, it is not chest beating about which tribe is better. It is humility in being provided the opportunity to serve and NOT vain chest beating. Do that research and you would find out these very same trailblazers are the most humble people. As an immigrant, you are not appointed into position in a white man's country only to lord it over them and call them dunces. You serve with humility and with humility comes more reward, not vain pride. Same thing with Nigeria. What used to be healthy competition in now unhealthy rivalry and unbridled hatred. The way forward is still equality and for all tribes to sheath their swords, verbal swords too. As long as verbal exchanges continue about superiority, the hatred among tribes would never end.
I couldn't agree more. The saddest part is neutral folks like myself are gradually becoming tribalistic due to numerous shades thrown at my own tribe.

I don't think nigeria would be great in this century. I'm not being pessimistic here,it's just an objective observation due to the tribal war going online.

Unfortunately, you can't stop humans from being tribalistic. Nigeria is way too tribalistic for it's own good. How can you see progress in a country with the world most highest tribe?

I used to be a patriotic citizen but not anymore. I'll advice anyone here, hustle for yourself and your family and make sure you become a citizen of a first world country. This country can never make meaninful progress.

I'm getting angrier as I'm typing this...i weep for my dear country.
