Does reimbursement have different meaning in this context because I don't understand the comments in this forum.
Don't mind them rushing to comment without understanding the gist of the news.

Zamfara got that much because their state govt first spent that much on the targeted areas. Its called PforR (performance for result) meaning the World Bank team have to physically see how you spent the money judiciously first before they reimburse you.

So states that committed little resources get little money in return.

If it was the former governors ....no problem......but if it's about the current governor of the state, you just have to come over and see workings.
This current administration is doing little to nothing

Delta, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Lagos always leading the pack but Bayelsa, Lagos and Delta are the most annoying of the pack as their governors can't account or justify these huge allocations. All the governors are the next band of super corrupt looters after the FG using the instrumentality of the NGF starting from the 1999 set.

See them fighting against implementation and payment of the new minimum wage yet asking suffering citizens to continue to endure their stupendously opulence lifestyles is really nauseating.
Zamfara that got 49billion, I still don't understand how a state with less population that lagos is getting so much.

You should ask what Bayelsa with a state with 1 LGA size is doing with all their funds and Delta State.

Lagos caters for 25Million people. Lagos gets - 5.5 billion
Bayelsa has 1.7Million people, that's 1 LGA in Lagos State. Bayelsa gets 10.8 billion
Akwa Ibom has 5.4 million population - 20% of Lagos State - Akwa Ibom gets 2.4 billion
Delta State has 4.1 million pop. That's about 15% of Lagos pop. Delta State gets 13.2 billion

Ethnic bigoted soul. See how he ignored Abia (that cannot pay 30k minimum wage) and Imo and Enugu but lampooned Lagos, bayelsa and Delta.

But the caption is misleading. NG Cares is fund from world bank, read about NG Cares, the Program have 3 Results Already with Disbursements Link Indicators (DLI s). It has nothing to do with FG

Its base on how the previous disbursements were effectively utilized by the governors. I’m from Zamfara and I can tell you for certainty every LG benefited, I’m not surprised we are number 1
SmartPolician:
They called it reimbursement. I don't think it's the regular federal allocation from Abuja.

The basis is social welfare register compiled in the north by the north and domiciled in the north.
That's why zamfara and other northern states got far more than your state.
My state even got one of the least in that table. It is a pity.

Whenever you regain your senses, you can address the issues of the comment you quoted and show that ThiefNuibu made you and your family work hard to make all of you better like Jakande did without choking Lagosians with huge IGR extortion.

WHO SAYS 4 YEARS IN OFFICE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MEANINGFUL ACHIEVEMENTS?

IT'S A FACT THAT 90% OF GOVERNORS IN NIGERIA SINCE 1999 WITH REVENUES AT THEIR DISPOSAL CANNOT BOAST OF A QUARTER OF THESE ACHIEVEMENTS EVEN WITHIN THEIR EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE.

Yes,I know it's from the world bank but meant to mitigate the impact of COVID 19 pandemic on the citizens.
And it passes through the FG through the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster management previously but now through ministry of planning and economy.
Check the caption and the write up in that memo.So I didn't follow the caption from the onset. Those who followed the caption think it's the normal statutory allocation from FAAC.

So I won't totally agree with you that FG has nothing to do with i as you said..The money like every other grants passes through them.
The world bank didn't disburse the money directly to states. It is the FG that did the allocation and the disbursement to states based on the social register they have.
