The master strategist has done it again, he made them accept 70k by reducing the review period from 5 to 3 years. The only thing remaining now is to reduce inflation and cost of governance, then, no JuPeter can stop him in 2027 |

Are we even supposed to be celebrating this minimum wage? It's like giving Panadol to someone with malaria, at best it temporarily takes care of the headache symptom, but not the malaria. Unless something drastic is done about the rising inflation and the attendant hunger and hardship, there will soon be another renewed agitations for new minimum wage. |

Though I'm a critic of bad government, but on this, thanks Mr. President for acting fast for the betterment of Nigerians. I equally use this medium to appeal to the federal government to look into the boarder closure because it's causing a serious hardship. |

If after three years, the Labour Union still clamours for another upward review, then we should check ourselves and realise we're simply running our nation aground, economy-wise. I hope the day doesn't come when FG will be asked to pay 1 million Naira as minimum wage. I long for the day when someone can comfortably maintain himself on a minimum wage of three thousand Naira or less. |

Tinubu's biggest undoing was removing fuel subsidy on his inauguration day. We are yet to recover from that ill-timed policy. His bigger undoing is making his 'Lagos boys' to run the economy. Nigeria no be Lagos. The country's economy is on life support, as evidenced by the hunger and hardship people are going through. Man needs to look deep into the populace and search for economic geniuses, irrespective of tribe and ethnicity, to rescue us from this economic quagmire. We are in a State of emergency. It's beyond 'Lagos boys' economy. |

Labour both party and workers have compromised and they will regret it. They will be back in two months and realise it's not enough. NASS spend most of their money abroad it's not circulating in Nigeria it is used to pay for school fees, health check and council tax abroad. Just for those that don't know now you know. |

You are right bro, but the very best is to start your own business, that's the only way you can decide what you earn. A servant is a servant irrespective of attached title. Civil servant or Senior Civil Servant. Through the world you can take a Donkey to any length once you have a carrot just before its Nose. quote author=Quest7777 post=131104086] Are we even supposed to be celebrating this minimum wage?
