I want to beg all my Igbos brothers and sisters to avoid this protest at all cost. If possible don't open your shops and stay indoor (apart from your brethren in the South east).

Igbos have always been at the receiving end of many protest that have led to anarchy (Go and verify various History).
Even if the Igbos are not involved their shops, houses and business are always attacked.

One thing obvious about the August protest is that it won't end well.

For some, the definition of protest means riot and with hunger in the land, looting and violence will occur. That's why some have started dissociating themselves from being the organizers.

All advice and negotiations should be utilized to discourage people from engaging in it.
