I want to beg all my Igbos brothers and sisters to avoid this protest at all cost. If possible don't open your shops and stay indoor (apart from your brethren in the South east).

Igbos have always been at the receiving end of many protest that have led to anarchy (Go and verify various History).
Even if the Igbos are not involved their shops, houses and business are always attacked.

Be wise, be wise!!!

From protest to Anarchy. Your Enemies and those that jealous you, will use the opportunity to attack you and blame police, stray bullets, thugs etc. huh huh

ANYWAYS, I have made 10 days arrange for me and Ijeoma (My favourite) from August 1 - August 10

I WILL BE HERE ON NAIRALAND, INSHA ALLAH TO EXTEND MY CONDOLENCES TO ALL FALLEN HEROS, WHILE IJEOMA (MY FAVOURITE) PLAY WITH MY D!CK, AS I SCROLL THROUGH NL FRONT PAGE WITH MY PHONE. wink wink

I hereby on behalf of 200 million Nigerians declare that we are withdrawing from the protest

Though we are not the initiators

Though we cannot solve the problems leading to the protests

Though we don't have the consent of 200 million Nigerians

We still withdraw

The government should go about its business as we have all withdrawn from the no.nsense protest
grin

The protests is organised by National Association of Hungry and Suffering Nigerians (NAHSN).

Dem no get leader.
You can think straight!

You will observe that all those people saying they should shelve protest can't think straight.

Someone wants to become mad, and the person is using 10years to prepare.

It's sad that instead of addressing the legitimate concerns of the suffering masses, they are threatening people with death and arrest if they protest.

We should only be clamoring for a peaceful protest instead of trying to bottle aggrieved citizens up.

If people can't protest the hardships they're faced with, what do you propose they do?
Labour is not even part of the protest

The dimensions the protest will take may end Nigeria elites career in politics

I don't understand the protest.
We are a religious nation.
They should continue fasting and praying.
Who knows? Jesus Christ and the angels will come and fix Nigeria. I think Mohammed won't want to be left out also.

Pray without ceasing.

Why is the government trying to use divide and rule techniques to discourage people from coming out to protest? Instead of finding a lasting solution to this hunger that's creeping everybody in this administration, you are giving us list of groups that are not interested in the protest. From be patient with us to we are not magicians after each tenure. We are tired

Yea, me too don't want protests but we can't deny the fact that people are under extreme pressure these days with unreasonable inflation. It's clearly not sustainable.
