Governance is about making the citizens have a reason to live not to suffer, starve and die. Tinubu's government is notorious with bad, retrogressive policies heavily driven by ill-fated, brainless propaganda machinery. But no con-artist ever lasted in his art, it's always a matter of time the true identity will be known. Of all that has been going on, Tinubu has been mute. He doesn't have the grace to talk directly to Nigerians and placate them. He has not called the press to engage the citizens in interaction and way-out, what he and his deluded teams conclude is that protests against his government are sponsored by opposition. What a bad way to govern? The biggest sponsors of the protest are the ferocious hunger, hyperinflation, devaluation of naira, debt crises, corruption, loss of jobs, bad governance and nepotism that have defined Tinubu's government. We have been telling him that you can't go to the market without cursing Tinubu's government, you can't go to the filling stations without cursing Tinubu's government, you can't go the farm, workplace and return without cursing Tinubu's government. You go to bed cursing Tinubu's government and wake up cursing Tinubu's government. It is that bad. From the first day he entered Aso Rock, it has been pains, hardship and sorrow for Nigerians. Why are you blaming opposition when your government is failing in areas and making life impossible for the people? Why make policies without foreseeing their short and long time consequences? Do you think all Nigerians are dumb and gullible that they will praise you even while you're killing them? For over a year now, Nigerians have been crying that they can't afford common foods, pay their bills due to anti-people policies your government is making but you ignored it and like a lazy workman, you blame your tools. I can only say the protest against Tinubu's bad governance is natural and organic and no threats, no lies, intimidation, arrests, tribalism, witch-hunting, scapegoating can stop it. What can stop it is the government genuinely reviewing its antipeople policies, reducing the cost of governance and carrying people along. Unfortunately, it appears no one believes in Tinubu's government not even those who wine and dine with the president. Everyone is looking for what to loot! Maybe, Ndume was right when he said it is the government run by the most incompetent people and kleptomaniacs. If you were Goodluck Jonathan, what would you say? |

If I were Goodluck, I would say Nothing cos I have grown past the sentiments and antecedents this bunch of present retarded political fools carried out during my administration. I would sit down and sip a 200 year old whiskey and enjoy my life cos I definitely have no worries as an ex president and a cure proponent and advocate of peace in Africa and beyond. |

Why are we still looking up to these old men? Goodluck and Soyinka should be busy writing memoirs instead of leading protests. Adebayo for what? The same recycled faces, just different day. This is how we remain stagnant, always going back to the past instead of forging a new path. |
