Some nairalanders may think I am joking. I'm very serious about this honestly. If I can be able to shoot Tinubu and he dies, but I later got arrested and I am also killed, I would die a happy man
Stupidity at its peak....
Where would you see him to shoot.

I guess your drugs have finished.

Why I sympathize with you if your story is true, I also wish to tell you your case is not the worst. Don't relent, try once more till you get it. Don't give up! However, if nobody encourages you, try to encourage yourself and move on once more with another trial. However, if your story is not totally true and laziness is what put you into making that hasty and noughty decision of self-inflicting suicide especially since your only solace is to join protest with aim of being killed, then; instead of wasting your life just for nothing, why not donate yourself to ipob?

Ekpa and ipob kill every week for futureless Biafra fun, donate yourself to them voluntarily. No need to hang your killing on Nigerian police. Joining protest is never solution to your situation, go for 2-3days fasting with sincerity of your heart to your maker via Christ channel, he will surely show you your way out. Give it a trial, don't be in haste or try to run faster than your destiny, God's direction may not be faster than you expect, but it always end up as the best channel. God will shower His mercies on you, try Jesus with sincerity and get direction for your life to avoid trial and error
Ekpa and IPOB kill every week and we're still here, Na Ekpa and IPOB go kpai you and your colleagues since they kill every week it's your turn to kpai by them

I wish you well....

But if any protest may endanger your life...it would be wise to avoid it...if you die you will be on your own....make sure you accept Jesus before dying for protest......unfortunately the protest leaders if giving the opportunity to rule Nigeria may be worse that the current administration.

Most of our leaders were once upon a time freedom fighters.....democracy and good governance advocates......if you have to die...die for a noble cause

By the special Grace of the Almighty God, I can beat my chest and tell you that I'll be a part of the potential nationwide protest come August 1st. I have never in my entire existence joined any protest before, but this time, I will.

The hardship in this country is terrible. It is saddening and disheartening, to say the least. Nigeria, currently isn't friendly to the poor and the havenots.
Right from age 9 when I lost my parents till date, I have never had it easy in life. At times, I feel like God hates me and doesn't want me to be financially successful in life. Everything about my life is all struggle struggle and struggle. Relatives took advantage of my predicament and showed me shege while I lived with them.
As I am right now, nothing about life shakes me anymore. I'm no longer scared of death cos I've seen a lot in this life. I don't care if the police shoots at any protester. Even if I get killed while protesting, I'll be happy to have been matyred for the salvation of Nigerians. I believe everything is an sacrifice. One must die for others to live, and if I be the one to die, then so be it. After all, what is life when you don't know where your next meal is coming from? When u don't have a family to lean on? When you're not loved and cared for?
Protest to change. Don't protest to be killed. Goodluck.

I will simply advise this government to take signs from the 2012 protest. That protest destroyed Jonathan's government and no matter what he did, he couldn't recover from it. The President we have today is a thoroughbred politician who likely wants another term. There may be some enemies within who want his political empire to collapse, it's about time he rejigs his cabinet if he wants to survive. You can't keep talking down at Nigerians, change the approach to a more sympathetic one..Nothing beats a hungry and angry man who has nothing to lose in life. They are already jobless and life is no longer hopeful for them. If he wants to renew hope, something new has to be done to show that he is listening. Something new and practical with his team, not the old same thing from his Onanuga and Ministers who are not helping his image rn
Everything to you people is all about politics and not governance. Please who among his cabinet that is sabotaging his government? He used his own hand to sabotage his own government by his antipeople policies. He should seat down and review his policies. Those two policies he did are the lifewire of the country economy. Anything that affect oil, affect everything in the country. Same with currency, because we are still foreign dependent country, as every foreign good bought, the buyer would want to argument the differential from his own local produced good.
You guys should try and be talking more of governance than this political correctness that have brought the country to her knees.
Should even a normal human be talking of second term for a failed government, if not in Nigeria. His first term is still struggling to have a foot hold and you're talking of second term. Well, we like reinforcing failure in this part of country.

You started by empathizing with the guy and go spiritual at the end of your comment but went tribalistic at the middle of your comment. I tried to read the guy thread twice to be very sure of the content of his message wherein he referred to a tribe or region or a pint of colouration of ethnicity but I found nothing.
Please, how did you know the guy is an Igbo person? With all the story line of his, all you can deduce is he should go and donate himself to IPOB to be killed. You're a pretentious human being and don't have human conscience but only pretending and chameleonic in nature.
You guys need to be conscious of how you throw words around and turning all issue to tribal and ethnic baits, it won't allow the country to grow. The word is enough for the wise.

Throwback:
You just dey know the cunning nature of those sly foxes?

Since the day Peter Obi the Igbo project was defeated, and a Yoruba man won the Presidential election and was sworn in, their souls have become sorrowful to the point of death.

But that is to be expected from a people who already swore since Buhari won re-election in 2019, that if a Yoruba win APC presidential ticket for 2023 elections, they would rather that PDP zone their own ticket to the North so that they can continue ruling instead of a Yoruba to rule.

I do not know how to mince words, I call them out and give them gbas for their gbos.
Continue throwing barter against your perceived enemies while the country sink below and unrepaired.
It's over a year that election has been lost and won but the funny thing is those of you that won election are the same set of people still dwelling on the election after a year.
In every democracy, elections are lost and won and oppositions put the ruling party on her toes for the betterment of the country but you guys always want it a free ride and that is why the country and her leaders can't get it right.
Every and in any little thing is all about Peter Obi or SE or IPOB. Please se won fi se yin ni? You people would never talk about economy or good governance but opposition is your target. The thread ha sno pint related to Peter and, IPOB or SE but you find a way of importing those names into it. Mind you no democracy without oppositions, even almighty America have theirs and they criticize their leaders 247.
Be conscious of what you sow today.

God bless you too and turn your situation around for good.
Remember that there will always a better tomorrow. Your situation today is a detour, as tomorrow is heavily pregnant with divine promises filled with God's encounter. Losing one's life is never an option but pressing for an onward mark is the answer to every unseemly situation.
Have a great day!

Oga Malista, good for you but also remember that you cannot interfere nor stop my personal right to free movement also. While they are protesting, they shouldn’t block roads, vandalism nor attack people for not joining them to protest. Just as they are entitled to protest and move freely. I and others not joining in the protest are also free to do about our business.

Pleas which of the protest have they forced people to join? Yes, overzealous people can take law to their own hands and start vandalizing people or government property but records have shown that such sometime happened when their is a counter attack or protest against the intended protest. Every protest has always been peaceful at the beginning but intruders infiltrating the protest turn it wild.
I have not seen where protesters molest lawful people to join in protest, except when the labour union enforce their protest by closing government institutions.
Hence, nobody will force you to join what you're not interested to join.
