helinues:Are the lands obtained for free? If we can easily get the lands and tools do you think youths will reject it? You all make it sound like youths are intentionally refusing to farm. If the facilities are there the youth will be willing to farm. |

Which farm? Your family is buying an expensive presidential jet, going abroad for medical tourism, budgeting billions for food, travelling, estacodes, taking your children to UNGA( where they have no business). Who are you telling youth to go to farm? You think the remaining ariable farmlands across Nigeria are cultivateble with the Menace of bandits and BH terrorists threatening food security? Abeg shit up madam! |

First Lady Remi Tinubu is absolutely right. It’s high time our youths embrace agriculture as a viable career path. With the way things are going, we can’t keep relying on oil alone. Farming not only secures our food supply but also creates jobs and boosts the economy. Just look at countries thriving through agriculture! If we channel our energy into farming, we can turn Nigeria into a food powerhouse in no time. Let's start seeing farming as a noble profession, not just a last resort. Kudos to the First Lady for encouraging this vital shift. It’s about time we take our destiny into our own hands and cultivate our land for a better future! |

Southern youths especially.. most youths in the South today see farming as stressful, with less appeal whereas that farming (agriculture) is one of God's many gifts to mankind.. Utilize the soil around you (or get sacs and fill with soil), plant anything you desire just by using stem or seeds and wait for some time to reap bountiful harvest. Our youths just want to walk into supermarkets and stores, pick preservatives & chemical-laden fruits and foods, GMOs & lab grown foods, then go back home to consume them. The Northerners held on to agriculture till date despite the many distractions including discovery of crude oil which I give them kudos for.. If not for bandits and whatnot, those guys for no get issue. |
