I equally served in sagamu during COVID 19, na just colored water be tea there , just that the camp is fine and very neat

While in NYSC Orientation Camp in 2001, they used to serve us with poor quality meals with one piece of meat. But on the day the NYSC DG visited, the quality of the food improved significantly with 2 big pieces of meat. Nigeria we hail thee!!!

"You never knew" is the same thing as saying you didn't go to camp or you're daft. Every corper knows there are food servings by the Corps but some decide to boycott because of poor quality

Abeg go sit down one place. Who doesn't know nysc serves food in camp. Though poor meal as you can see from the op post, Even platoons take turn in preparation of meals in camp as well.

5 star camp

NYSC camp is the most exciting part of the exercise. Meeting new people, morning jogging, drills, mammy market, room gists etc. What I didn't like were: SAED, bad toilets, pple bathing outdoors, immoral stuff by some corpers

This is not bad

I don't know why I'm pissed with what the broad did, but I feel it is more for clout than protest.
During my time, I really enjoyed my 21 days of camping, drills, OBS, camp gf (who later redeployed), hostel roomies (very stubborn dude called Ridwan from Ogun state) and bunk buddies from Taraba and Imo state.
I remember eating at the dinning when Nysc DG paid us a visit and I was on camera being asked a few questions about the food, training and so on. My brain wanted to protest but my mouth was saying otherwise.

But in the end, one of the best thing to ever happen in my life is going to serve my fatherland in a totally strange land, but was treated like a local celebrity. If I had the chance, I'd go again.
