Efforts are ongoing to collect and identify the remains of the deceased soldiers, with families yet to be notified of the tragic loss.
As of now, the identities of the fallen soldiers have not been fully disclosed. This incident highlights the relentless and dangerous efforts of the Nigerian Army in combating the ongoing threat posed by Boko Haram in the region

The last time I checked, soldiers were issued new last as far back as 2016. They buy their own uniforms.

These men complain about not being paid, no weapons, no support at all from higher ups.
^^^
Civilians have nothing to do with this.

Secure our borders please !
Niger , Chad borders are too porous . Let us deal with root causes and stop wasting our soldiers lives .
Ilela border in sokoto and Niger 🇳🇪 is very porous .
The other time I was in an estate in Egbeda and I wanted to buy Tom Tom from a mallam
Infront of me were up to 10 aboki who are shoemaker having a rest under the tree .
I asked them jokingly which state in Nigeria they hail from and almost all of them came from Niger and Chad .
Only one came from maiduguri .
What exactly is rocket science in securing borders lipsrsealed

Remember these soldiers that lost their lives belong to some families and their loved ones are right in pain now. It's easier to gloat over outsider's dead bidy but the case is always different when it turns around.

These are people that are receiving 59k fighting Boko Haram in the bush, while sanators are enjoying with their children abroad for doing nothing. If you join the Nigeria army, you have failed your parents.

So they moved with the commandant around 5 am (on Thursday) in a convoy. The first and second vehicles passed, his own was the third, the EED device exploded and scattered all of them in the vehicle. They were seven.” The IED was definitely remote controlled therefore the controller was around the vicinity & knew the particular (commandant)vehicle to detonate. The govt needs to set up a special CT force that will target terrorists & where personnel will be screened through a polygraph. The sabotage is too much.

Were they in a pickup/technical? Those things are moving coffins nowadays. There's a reason why the US Army created the humvee. Every Nigerian soldier needs to be transported in an amounted personal carrier/MRAP/infantry fighting vehicle. Nothing less.
So you know how much it costs?
The money has been eaten by the political generals.
Re: Explosive Device Kills 7 Nigerian Soldiers In Borno During Operation by caye(m): 6:46am On Jul 27, 2024
I have a feeling that Boko haram is now using extensively landmines.
And this is deadly because with land mines, you can lure soldiers to a location, and ambush them.

Also, soldiers can be slowed down , due to fear of landmines, thus you can still ambush them.

Ah! Rulers of the North from 1960- now, SEE WHAT YOU HAVE BRED!

All this doesn't matter. The priority right now is how to stop protests and deal with any civilian protesting
