Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu has confirmed the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South.

Senator Ubah, who recently defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), died in a London hotel two days after leaving Nigeria, News360 Nigeria gathered

Ubah, who contested the 2014 Governorship election in Anambra State under the Labour Party (LP), died at the age of 52, reportedly from cardiac arrest.

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream was in London to attend his son’s graduation.

RIP to senator Ifeanyi Uba, prominent son of Igbo land and Nigeria at large... Unperturbedpota, DatniggaDaz, cyndypresh and skooltynz Bigyash, I hope OBI will condole with the family of Ifeanyi Uba despite the political affiliation? I went to a vigil last night. By 4am after the vigil, I launched Nairaland and read where he donated 71M and even saw him shaking Jagaban.

Got home and slept, woke up by 11am. Refreshed and launched Nairaland by 11:33am and there it was that he was dead.

The Bible is right; 1 Peter 1:24 - “ For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: ”.

Fear the Lord and accept his Son Jesus Christ today.

May his soul rest in the bosom of his Creator.

During his life time,he was a generous man but that one no concern death.... RIP

RIP great man....indeed our senatorial zone has lost a great man..this guy was the only senator since 1999 to remember my home town....he was doing alot things for our community street light boreholes and road but unfortunately he's gone to eternity
