You cannot sell fuel below its production and import price , and electricity below its production price, and not expect issues.

Your GSM companies sell their product at the price they set, or above production price. It is why we went from no home internet in 1998 to home internet in most parts of the country (excepting some rural areas) today.

You make a profit, you have money to make things better.

Our refineries are kpafuka because at the end, they stopped relying on profit to run and started relying on government money that was never enough, and was also open to stealing. You can see the result.


(See Venezuela....years of selling fuel cheaply have left them with the same refining issues as NIgeria. I assure you neither APC, or PDP, or any NIgerian govt has run that country, and their issues began before US sanctions hit).

Countries that do subsidy charge high tax to gdp ratio or high tax rates to fund it.

Interviews are not conducted for "just formality cases" at best just a get to know the candidates and their sponsors. But how will you know if that is the case without applying?

Stop attributing it with the citizens. If fuel is put at 1000-1200, and the the govt policies and economy is friendly, we will buy it.

The problem is, if you want the refineries to work, they have to make a profit to work. Not doing that is why we have issues.


Ghana and NIger Republic have working refineries...because they sell fuel above what it costs to produce in those refineries. And last i checked, their economies are just as bad, if not worse, than ours.
