How come states with just as much funds as Lagos but less population couldn't achieve what he did?

He brought some innovations that other states are trying to use till date.

Lagos being the former capital and borders Benin; a very good country where Nigeria imports cars from has an advantage.
Which other state in Nigeria has that advantage?
Is it Cross River that borders the barren Cameroon? 😂
Is it Adamawa and Borno that border the unproductive Niger Rep?
Let's be factual for once. No state has the location advantage of Lagos. I'm not disputing Tinubu’s management skills though, a lot of people got funds but did nothing with it.

There is not a single state that borders Nigeria that is not benefiting from trade.

Sokoto and Kastina trades heavily with Niger Republic.

Cross River, Adamawa trades heavily with Cameroon etc.

I said innovations LAMTA which birthed a cosmopolitan transportation system in Lagos, An effective internal generated revenue system amongst others.

Meanwhile, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo Kwara and Niger state borders Benin not only Lagos

No state ever had as much funds as Lagos bar Abuja.

Allocations to SS states which only recently started getting improved is not the only source of funds for LAGOS

LAGOS has always been the economic Center of Nigeria way before TINUBU

Lagos was a bigger slum that most of you consider it to be now.


Tinubu started a journey that regenerated Lagos and gave it the opportunity to play to its strategic advantages.


He came up with some positive innovations that makes lagos the only functioning State in Nigeria today.

Some states have even gone backwards like Kogi state.

Calabar was capital of southern Nigeria before Lagos was joined with southern Nigeria.

The oil rivers protectorate was also rich in trade in palm oil n rubber at par with LAGOS before 1914,the decline started after the ww1 after which Lagos became capital of Nigeria

Kogi was created in 1991 but Lokoja is a very important city in Nigerians history
