Just wanted to drop my experience here since I checked for reviews before I patronized Meis.ter. I got an Mi 11 Ultra from him last October, UK used. A month into the usage, the phone started rebooting on its own when connected to Wifi and I noticed it got incredibly hot. Two months in, the wifi and hotspot became unusable and it eventually stopped booting.

I contacted Mei.ster and we tried to find a solution and then we discovered it was an innate hardware issue ( A defective unit from Xiaomi). He would not accept it back nor take a swap despite all my pleas. He gave me an engineer's number, Igem.burg - I don't know if I got the name correctly. I contacted him and he confirmed it was a motherboard issue.

Anyways, I eventually had to order for a motherboard from AliExpress, spent about 200k. 166k for the motherboard, 20k for the repair in Ibadan plus waybill cost etc. I had spent about 650k total on the phone (450k) now. After repair, the phone was still getting hot but it came on and I was able to use it for another two months before the problem resurfaced last month.

Had to swap it with Google pixel 8 pro for a 15% off to someone else this month. The phone was an incredible loss for me, need I say that the battery was also horrendously bad. Prior to this, I had used a Xiaomi phone I got from Prote.in0 for 3 good years without issues, he tried to gaslight me that it was my fault. Anyways, he might not have known that it was a faulty unit but he should have done right by me, either by accepting a return or a swap.. both of which he firmly rejected and left it to me as MY LOSS

Oh and he said his warranty was a week. Lol

This will be the first time I'm being called out since actively selling phones here for close to 4 years now, I've always wondered when it will finally happen to me

This my guy here bought a foreign used 11 ultra from me in October of 2023, he sent me a text on December 21 informing me that his phones WiFi has been acting up for a while and is basically unusable at that point.
I had to go to the Xiaomi thread on telegram with this issue because this was the first time I was hearing of it even though I have sold numerous 11 ultras in the past and since then. I was asked to tell him to try factory resetting his device then Busuyi44 also sent me some other complaints from people who passed through the same issue with their 11 ultra. The general consensus on those screenshots Busuyi sent to me was that the phones motherboard would have to be changed, some people also said they were able to solve theirs by flashing a new custom ROM.

I relayed all this new information to Marvel and continued trying my best to help him in trying out every conceivable option before we might have to resort to getting a motherboard.
When he started asking to return the phone, I tried every means possible to explain to him that no one will collect back a used phone after 2 months of usage and the only thing we can do going forward will be to find a way to get a replacement motherboard. I tried to explain to him that the same warranty guiding a brand new phone will obviously not be in place for a used phone which was where I told him that I give my buyers 1 week to confirm that the phone they bought was in the described condition.
He said I tried to gaslight him which is crazy cause in our chats I mentioned multiple times that the issue was neither his fault nor mine. I can always post the chats from the beginning so he can show me where I tried to gaslight him.
I was also ready to chip in to get the replacement motherboard which is against what he said up there. He however was very adamant on wanting to return the phone which was impossible at that point.
I would also like to be cleared on this please so it doesn't seem like I was being unreasonable, would anyone else here take back a used phone that was sold in very good condition after 2 months of it being sold?
He abruptly ended our chat after I refused to collect the phone back so I did not know when or if he bought a motherboard and everything after that.
The battery issue he mentioned here is also new information to me because he never told me of it.

There is a reason I have not been called before now, it's not because all the phones I've sold were in amazing condition but because I'm always very quick to solve any problems encountered immediately. I have replaced phones for a decent number of people here for varying reasons and I'm sure they can attest to this. The case of my guy up here was just a case of the issue not coming with the phone when it was sold and 2 months being way too much of a time difference. I still consistently tried to proffer solutions to him but at the end of the day it did not work out.

I do not fault him for sharing his side of the story but I just felt the need to butress some points and clear a few misconceptions from his part.

So I was meant to keep begging you to help me when it was clear there was nothing you were ready to help me with save for preferring online solutions? You can't say you sold me a phone in good condition. The fact that you've sold phones to a gazillion other people doesn't change the fact that this happened.

The phone rebooted a month into usage on its own and I did not inform because why the hell would I think that a phone I purchased could already have problems.

I informed you two months in when the wifi stopped working totally. A month or two does not matter. You said your warranty was a week and that can only be the case if you're unsure of the condition of what you're selling.

I pleaded with you and begged you multiple times. Telling you I would be phoneless, all to no avail. And I was literally phoneless for over a month when the motherboard was in transit.
