And it is the job of the police to ensure the rights of peaceful protesters is not infringed upon.

I was thinking that all the measures government has put in place to frustrate the protest was yielding fruit,but it seems,that despite all the tactics,the protest would still go ahead.
The annoying thing about all these government action is that nothing concrete is being done to address the cause of the upcoming protest,severe hardship and hunger,instead same old tactics by the government:sponsor pro government protest,arrest assumed instigators,deny access to venues and all manner of rubbish.
I bet Tinubu would finally go on the air tomorrow to try one last attempt to stop the protest
