The US President can sign an executive order saying a well finished three bedroom, two bath apartment well finished anywhere in the USA should cost only between three hundred and five hundred dollars per annum in rent and use that scale to fix rent for all accommodations across the country. All high income countries would follow suit and salaries, prices and overall cost of living in high income countries will drop like a rock. Everywhere will be as cheap to live in as say Ethiopia or North Korea as it should be.

As salaries, prices and cost of living generally drop in high income countries, low income countries will gain by way of a crash in oil prices which will go down by more than ninety percent if not more. Pump price for PMS in a place like Nigeria will plummet to around ten percent of what it is currently. Other things imported from high income countries will also experience sharp drops in prices.

It will be the beginning of a new world order of equality and governments will stay on top of everything by regulating the real estate sector which is the only immoveable part of the basic necessities of life.

For the past decades, the real estate sector have been preying on the rest of the economy especially in high income nations but all countries are exposed. If your per capita income as a nation is over five thousand dollars per annum, you are very exposed.

One of the things causing inflation is high demands and less resources due to high population. It's not that population should be reduced, no, but more people needs to work and more products need to be available in surplus then things would automatically become very cheaper. You need to start discouraging the muslim community from marrying hundreds of wives and bear thousands of lazy and out of school children in order to emulate Muhammad. But if those multiple children can be industrial and productive, products will be in excess and things will be way cheaper than you imagined in your op. Because even if rent is free, thousands will still be homeless because houses are fewer than people. You need more houses that can accomodate many to get a cheaper rate. Got it?

You still don't understand economics. Do you? A simple google search or GPT questioning can help you. For instance, where there are only 2 oranges and there are 5 persons who wants to buy it, those two oranges would become very expensive in order to preserve it because these five people would only be able to buy a piece of the 2 oranges which they can afford instead of letting one person buy them all and the other 4 persons go hungry.

If a thirty.thousand dollar rent is reduced to four hundred dollars, then.you perform the same operation on all debts and etc. It is simple and straightforward but the experts know exactly how to do it. The objective is to reduce the cost of living to be at par with low income countries

are you saying it is the cost of building materials that causes houses in the US for instance to be more expensive than in Ethiopia or Nigeria for instance?. we all know that isnt true. Then People will always invest in real estate even if returns is very very low. People will build for themselves and others definitely.
