Let wait and see.
The government just announced crude will be supplied to the refineries in naira. What then is the government going to subsidize?

This is impressive. Tinubu must bring back the fuel subsidy. We cannot be buying fuel at high price, cooking gas is 1500 per Kg and the electricity tariff is unbearable yet both VAT and Import duty goes up every day.

Tinubu should not tax us to death. Within a year you removed every life lines we Nigerians are enjoying.

Bring back our subsidy Tinubu.

So you are trying to say that because 3 wives claim they will cook for their husbands means the foods must come out the same way?
Wrong analogy. The subsidy is not like food ingredients. The numbers are the same across board. How you mitigate the effects may be different but so far none in the opposition have been able to put forward any reasonable alternative.

So that is undefined because we all know it can come out better or come out worse.

Candidates and their supporters who supported the removal of oil subsidy, or the free trading of the Naira in the forex market, have no useful opinion to give regarding the consequences of such policies.

Initially I don't have problem about the removal of the subsidy because he mentioned it in his campaign. But removing electricity subsidy, increasing the VAT & and import duty is totally wickedness from Tinubu.
Keep quiet and pay... talaka

But you were warned about Tinubu, and for the fuel subsidy, Tinubu is currently paying over 400 naira per litre for fuel subsidy ...

So I'm wondering how much you want him to pay that will bring the price down to even 400 naira...
You have forgotten that fuel subsidy is gone.

Let me ask simple question . If govt us all about the people and for the people ...why then is the govt not listening to the plight of the people ? Will heaven fall if tinubu reduce the price of fuel and electricity tariff? Are Nigerians expected to die of hunger b4 tinubu takes them to the promise land? The govt doesn't need to kill the citizens b4 doing the needful ...we only hope it doesn't get worse at the end .

Since you say it can come out better or worse why then did you choose worse for the both of them?

Since you are not sure don't conclude on their matter till they are president and they do it, that is like tasting one woman's food and claiming that all women's a must come out the same.

Wait till they are presidents before judging their own removal or leave them out of the matter and focus on Tinubu....

I support you wholeheartedly.

Subsidy removal must be predicated on sufficient local refining capacity, and cheap energy alternatives like constant electricity supply.

A country that is so tied to fossil fuels for most energy needs and for national commerce, cannot expect the economy not to suffer an upheaval when subsidy removal would equate to fuel price increment in multiples of the previous price.

The hypocrisy is when those who supported candidates who affirmed their support for subsidy removal immediately they assumed power, begin to campaign now that their own candidate would have been better at implementing the same policy at the same time, with the existing inadequacies that already existed.

Let's give Tinubu time, his policies will favor all of us on the long run. Protest is not the answer, moreover, protest against leaders is against Islamic laws.

That is like saying all car drivers must drive exactly the same way...

What makes a lecturer better than another lecturer is the way he teaches his students, it is the same with governance and policies, the way and manner most times determines the outcome.

And no politician in this world is the same, their way and manner will be different, so don't compare them till they are given the same privilege to handle the very same matter...

So no excuses here for Tinubu....

Mr. President most act fast. Nigerians are suffering. He need to open the border and reduce the cost of fuel. Otherwise, Northerners will use this opportunity to destabilize the country
Opening the border is never an option, it will take our economy 20 years backward. Subsidy is no longer sustainable.
