sweetkev:Venezuela is in trouble because Hugo Chavez decides to make oil money reach the poorest of the poor USA was not happy about that It then imposed biting economic sanctions on them If not for Russia and China, that country would have gone under by now. Why did the US do that? The usual protection of democracy bullshit, and because what Chavez was doing was for Communists and Socialists, not CAPITALISTS like them and if you know how much the American establishment hates socialism you will understand their reasons |

Difrent:Really ? I'm not aware of that. And if that is true, that means he's a good man who meant well for his country. Sometimes I also feel those Western countries don't want poor nations to develop by giving out loans that changes nothing but still put us and other developing countries in more debt. |

loswhite:Now I know you don't know anything. Things I said are beyond your reasoning. You think only people with the voters cards are the ones determine election winners in your country? FYI, voters and people like you are just pawns in the grand scheme of things. Seek more knowledge and liberate yourself You either learn or perish. |

sweetkev:Yes you are right. They are doing everything you said so that they will have easy access to cheap resources in those countries. You see those loans are tools of modern slavery and it is for the developing Nations with huge abundance of resources. The problem we are facing is very common with countries with abundance of natural resources. (DR Congo is a good case study.) Venezuela has over 300 billion barrel of crude oil their reserve and this makes them the country with the highest oil reserve in the world followed by Saudi Arabia. The value of Dollars is tie with the oil supply around the world. If the value of oil goes up, Dollars become stronger and this is more money for the United States. U.S will do everything to have access oil reserve anywhere it can be found in the world. If you decided not to give them access to oil you will definitely face economic sanction because they control the world market and that is the case with Venezuela but the media will not tell you this because they also control it. Beside that, Bolivia and Venezuela are trying to build regional and economy integration and this can be a great threat to America influence in that region. They will do whatever it takes to prevent that and removing the president is one of the key strategies. Just of recent, CIA sponsored a coup to get rid of Bolivia president and they also incited Maduro opponent, Edmundo Gonzalez, to declare himself as president to cause chaos so they can invade the country but the Military remain loyal to Maduro. |

God1000:You seem not to know much about the situation in the country and you're repeating the little you have read. Venezuela was doing good under Chavez and they systematically killed him because it's a socialist nation, the power that be hated him. They exposed them to sanctions, hence the economic downturn. Maduro refused to cede power when the election didn't go his way and felt the system that wanted Chavez out are out for him, so he kept fighting. |

BALLOSKI:why should he keep fighting to stay in power if venezuelans are tired of him? |
