Obi didnt say he will completely remove subsidy at once.
But he will definitely remove subsidy, possibly in phases.

Obi is not going to announce it like a lunatic.

Obi is going to carry out an accounting of petrol being imported and know the actual value of our imports which would bring down the cost of subsidy if any.

Obi is not going to waste scarce resources on private jets, expensive travels, superfluous ministries and ministers or building VP lodge while people suffer.

Obi is not going to create ministry of livestock or appoint unnecessary SSAs as political favors who are now feeding fat on scarce resources.

Obi will not continue from where buhari stopped, like tinubu.

Obi is not going to do many negative things that tinubu has done.

Only a lunatic would compare obi's approach to tinubu.

when Jonathan wanted to remove the subsidy, Tinubu was at the fore front of the protesters. We all know sooner or later, the subsidy would be gone but there should have been a plan to cushion the effect.
