Alamkir:Nonsensical lie! Northerners are the promoters of the protest. Igbos have stated it countless times that they aren't interested. You people lie despicably! |

I wonder why some unscrupulous element usually label Yoruba to be tribalistic, no tribe in Nigeria can out clean like this and openly mobilize a protest against their kinsmen in Nigeria. I was expecting sth like this from the north during Buhari regime, my brothers from the north keep quiet.

|

With this location issue the government is not saying you cannot protest in the street. All you need is to register your protest group with the state police HQ and be responsible for any damages caused by your protest group If you cannot do such go to the designated venue to do your owanbe. Southeasterners will go about their normal business. Nothing concern southeast with protest. Tinubu must complete his 4years. If you want to protest, protest with your voters card after he has completed his first tenure! |

nairalanda1:my issue isn't with anyone's personal contrary opinion on the government's obvious woeful performance but them saying others shouldn't protest against the nonsense. I didn't protest against Jonathan in 2012 but I also didn't support his governments corrupt actions and I voted against him and voted for the colossal failure buhari. So I don't falk into the category u quoted. I'm not a fanatic or biased supporter. I'm objective most times. |

Alamkir:The South East didn't champion any protest. If I recall, the South Easterners said the people who voted for this government should be the ones to protest against it, because they weren't expecting anything positive from the APC Fed Govt. It's too late in the day to change the story that the protests were organized by South Easterners. |

We have protested intellectually and the messages are well delivered to the FG. Things are really bad and something urgent and drastic must be done to ameliorate the worsening economy. Fuel price has to be subsidized. |
