JaceBlaze:WELL, LIKE U SAID, SHE IS ALREADY MIXED. SHE COULD BE FURTHER MIXED DOWN THE LINE. IDENTITY IS BOTH NATURE AND NURTURED. SHE IS SOUTH AFRICAN BY NURTURE, BECAUSE SHE WAS BORN AND RAISED THERE. RIGHTLY SO, AND THAT IS Y SHE IS ON THE SHOW. SA SHOULD LEARN TO CHILL AND EASE OFF XENOPHOBIA, IT IS NOT GOOD FOR RELATIONS AS ONE AFRICA. |

JaceBlaze:There is nothing like South African DNA Are you a geneticist? Neither is there anything like Nigerian or Mozambican DNA Nigeria,Mozambique and South Africa are all less than 250 years old Human DNA is hundreds of thousands of years old Whatever argument you want to profess DNA does not come into the equation Nations are artificial constructs not biological ones Hence there us nothing like American DNA and so we got Barack Obamaas president |

The only SA you can claim to be better than are shack dwellers , and that's who you hang out with to feel like an achiever. Bring it on my busy Osu Mzala ![]() |

Ebeano49:What exactly are you sending me a link from a useless website like Gazettengr from? DID Chidimma not vote, did Obi not win Lagos state? By the way, where is the link to the actual document that gazettengr are referencing? Why is it that other more reputable media outlets did not carry this story? You that you are in civilisation, you see your life for outside? |

aswani:Is BusinessDay reputable enough? https://businessday.ng/news/article/apc-intimidated-suppressed-voters-in-igbo-dominated-areas-during-lagos-election-us-govt/ How about The Cable? https://www.thecable.ng/lagos-and-the-politics-of-nativism/ Why not own up to your actions with your full chest or are you embarrassed by your base nativism? |
| Re: We Can’t Have A Nigerian Compete In Miss SA - South African Sport Minister by aswani(m): 4:08pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
Ebeano49:So nothing from the main newspaper outlets. Let's accept there was intimidation, which was wrong, the blanket suggestion that Ndigbo aka Chidimma was not allowed to vote is wrong. Wrong because lots of Ndigbo did vote and that helped Peter Obi win. Chinedu Gbadebo's uncouthness, general lack of decorum and social media history of a hatred of Ndi Yoruba did for him. So what action am I supposed to own up to when I didnt stop anybody voting? |
| Re: We Can’t Have A Nigerian Compete In Miss SA - South African Sport Minister by Ebeano49(m): 4:41pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
aswani:How about Vanguard? Is "main newspaper" enough? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/04/attacks-on-the-igbo-in-lagos/ So you are justifying the victimization of "Chinedu" Gbadebo and others whose parents are all Nigerians but are alarmed by the treatment of 'Chidimma' whose South African heritage is at best disputed? Make it make sense. |
| Re: We Can’t Have A Nigerian Compete In Miss SA - South African Sport Minister by aswani(m): 4:47pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
Ebeano49:The lady did not call South Africans that she wants to represent derogatory names, none of her social media posts has her being insultive to South Africans. Till today, despite the nonsense being said about her, she has been dignified in her silence. Go and read Chinedu Gbadebo's social media posts to see why he pissed away the votes that Peter Obi's momentim would have given him into Alausa. Two very different scenarios and the Internet never forgets. Chinedu Gbadebo victimised himself. |
| Re: We Can’t Have A Nigerian Compete In Miss SA - South African Sport Minister by Ebeano49(m): 4:55pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
aswani:Ah! Good to know that you now accept it happened becuase you have seen a 'credible source'. Your logic is warped. To you, because of what "Chinedu Gbadebo" said on social media, it is right to prevent Igbo people in Lagos from exercising their fundamental right as CITIZENS? Translated differently Nigeria against Nigeria tribal-induced hate is okay but nationality induced hate in far away South Africa is not okay. Laughable! |
| Re: We Can’t Have A Nigerian Compete In Miss SA - South African Sport Minister by aswani(m): 5:13pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
Ebeano49:Are you OK at all, where did you read me saying Ndigbo in Lagos should not vote? And where did I defend or support tribal induced hate? Stop conflating issues and moving forward, can you quote me word for word in trying to make your point against what I wrote. Behave yourself with this 2 + 2 = 22 nonsense. |
| Re: We Can’t Have A Nigerian Compete In Miss SA - South African Sport Minister by Lionessza6(f): 5:25pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
aswani:At the bolded....there are many ways of showing people the middle finger, you don't necessarily have to say it or text it...your actions and associations can say it for you. If Nigerians expressed concerns about MTN not doing any charity in Nigeria but sponsoring all events and charities in SA even though it also makes money in Nigeria....then MTN goes on their social handles and posts videos of it's office bearers cutting red ribbons all over SA. Would you need MTN to issue an official statement saying that her loyalties are with South Africans ? .Your Chidimma is no different from the "Chinedu" you hate over there ....the Chinedus in the videos she posted herself said everything she wanted to say to SA without her opening her mouth. So she's not some helpless victim, she is a true Nigerian ...two -faced and vindictive. She got the message across in that video and we got it. And she's getting the response she was looking for so she can scream "victim of xenophobia " like most the treacherous people she descends from (They are victims everywhere they go)...but never take any accountability for the hate they recieve. |

Lionessza6:I hate to agree with you but you made some, well all good points in fairness. If the Nigerian party was recent, she was a bit naive to allow herself go there and let all these loudmouths yap on about her Nigerian ancestry. The deed is done and she can only adopt a defensive mode, even if she said she was pure South African now, that video would be brought to slap her down. Where I disagree with you is with Chinedu Gbadebo's case being the same, if that was the imbecilic idiot, he would be extoling the virtues of apartheid by now and doubling down on any abuse he receives. I have to say, you are tough to argue against, you make some seriously good points, kudos to you and good luck to those that want to take you on. |

Legendguy:Natasha is coloured and like all coloureds she is of mixed ancestry. She was a coloured candidate who speaks their language, practices their culture and so do her parents. The same is true for Karishina and other Asians, they represented their own heritage ( that of Indians who were brought here before SA was born). The same with Europeans , they have their own category of SA heritage that is represented by their own language, culture etc. If you brought in a white woman from Sweden and packaged her a representative for a boere candidate ...you think we would have peace ?. They'd never agree because she is not of their bloodline. This is the same with us. A representative of black SA is a : Xhosa Zulu Ndebele Tsonga Sotho Tsawana Venda swati Pedi If you're ain't any of the above then you're not one of us. Case closed. We will never allow tribalists and religious bigots to come here and hijack our heritage by blackmailing us with their skin colour. Africans are different and every type of African should boldly and proudly represent their own culture....and that's where we stand as Proud SA Africans. We want a black SA candidate who embodies what we are and what we stand for. Our culture, language, humour and humbliness. And lastly, if you people feel hated by us then why do you force yourselves on us, where is your pride ?. People are territorial by nature and you cannot change that. Live with it. |

aswani:Thanks for the compliments and I also enjoyed the exchanges with you. But I disagree on her being naive.....I think it was deliberate. She senses she won't win so she's doing the Nigerian "pepper them " thing ...which Unfortunately for her will have long-term consequences. SA will not forget this and even as a lawyer she will now remain *that Nigerian girl* ...maybe she intends to represent her drug and human trafficking brothers , because I don't see her getting any SA clients . |
